SURAT - The revered spiritual leader, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, has been accommodated in the opulent farmhouse of diamond magnate Lavji Badshah during his sojourn in Surat.

Badshah, a leading figure in the Patidar community's religious and social affairs, frequently dubbed as "Bhamasha," has graciously extended his hospitality to Shastri. The spiritual leader arrived at the Surat airport yesterday and headed straight to the luxurious Gopin Farm for a restful overnight stay.

Badshah's sprawling Gopin Farmhouse, nestled in Abrama, mirrors the comfort and grandeur of a 5-star hotel. This lavish residence, outfitted with stylish seating arrangements and a lavish swimming pool, exudes immense luxury. The farmhouse boasts imported fixtures and furnishings from Italy, enhancing its charm and exclusivity.

Badshah spared no expense in the creation of this spectacular farmhouse. Millions were spent on the interior design, including a variety of rare antiques sourced from overseas. Gopin Farm was reportedly filled with exotic components shipped in from various parts of the world, lending an international flavor to its decor.

Lavji Badshah, the Surat-based diamond industrialist and property developer, is renowned for his significant philanthropic contributions to various hospitals and charitable institutions. His campaign 'Beti Bachao Abhiyan' was instrumental in enhancing the birth rate of girls in the Patidar community. Furthermore, Badshah is known for his substantial contributions to religious events and his active association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), often lending support to party programs either directly or indirectly.
