This three-day mega event was organized as a joint initiative by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCCI) and the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Surat, and was inaugurated by renowned investor and founder of Abacus Asset Management, Sunil Singhania.

A large number of industrialists, investors, financial experts, and chamber officials were present at the inauguration ceremony. During the event, there were extensive discussions on financial management, new investment opportunities, equity markets, AIF, and India's economic potential. The chamber's president, Nikhil Madras, mentioned in his welcome speech that 'Wealth Expo 2026' was a personal dream of his that has now come to fruition.

He noted that the event received a fantastic response not only from Surat but also from cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Jaipur. He praised Surat's business potential and resilience, stating that the city emerges stronger after every challenge. Milan Parikh, president of JITO Surat and founder of Jainam Broking, emphasized that in the current era, merely earning is not enough; having the right financial plan and investing wisely has become the greatest necessity of the time.

He stated that this expo would prove to be an important platform for raising financial awareness among investors and entrepreneurs. During the program, a curtain raiser for 'Wealth Expo 2027' was also presented. The organizers announced that next year's expo will be held from March 12 to 14, 2027, and advance bookings have already begun.

On the first day, Sunil Singhania engaged directly with investors during a rapid-fire session with Krunal Mehta of Mehta Wealth. He remarked that the people of Surat are always active and aware in matters of business and investment. He described long-term investment as the strongest strategy for wealth creation, stating that in a growing economy, equity provides the best returns, while trading only offers excitement.

Sunil Singhania referred to India as one of the most stable leadership-led economies in the world and highlighted the potential for significant opportunities in the semiconductor, metal, and pharma sectors in the near future. He advised investors to trust India's growth story and to adopt asset allocation wisely.

The event also featured guidance for investors from several prominent speakers, including geopolitical expert Karan Dutta and motivational speaker and industrialist Padma Shri Savjibhai Dholakia. Former presidents of the chamber, representatives from various financial institutions, and many prominent figures from the industry were also present at the ceremony.

The South Gujarat Vij (Electricity) Company Limited (DGVCIL) will celebrate 'Solar Month' in May 2026.

This campaign is being organized under the central government's ambitious 'PM Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme', aimed at connecting more domestic consumers to rooftop solar systems. The Government of India launched the 'PM Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme' on February 13, 2024, with a target of installing rooftop solar systems in one crore homes across the country. The scheme, which has an estimated cost of ₹75,021 crore, provides central financial assistance of up to ₹78,000 per consumer for rooftop installations of up to three kilowatts.

Considering the increasing demand for electricity during the summer and the greater availability of solar energy, May 2026 has been declared a special campaign month. The objective is to raise awareness about solar energy among the public and to benefit as many consumers as possible from the scheme. The campaign will focus on four key points: receiving more applications on the 'PM Surya Ghar' national portal, expediting the rooftop solar installation process, promptly addressing pending inspections, and registering a larger number of vendors.

Awareness programs will also be organized among domestic consumers, residential welfare associations, and group housing societies. Special efforts will be made by registered vendors to accelerate the installation work. Based on the performance in May 2026, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of the central government will also reward states and union territories in various categories, including the highest number of applications, installations, inspections, and vendor registrations.

The South Gujarat Vij (Electricity) Company Limited has appealed to all electricity consumers to take maximum advantage of the scheme. Consumers can visit DGVCIL's official website or contact customer care at 19123 for more information related to the scheme. According to the company, this scheme will significantly reduce consumers' electricity bills and help Gujarat rank among the better-performing states at the national level.

Before the gazette notification was issued, many newly elected candidates were seen inspecting roads, drainage, water, and sanitation systems in their respective areas along with municipal officials.

It has become a topic of discussion in the city that several victorious candidates are seen enthusiastically directing officials. Currently, these candidates are showing proactivity regarding public issues in their electoral areas and participating in various social and community programs as 'corporators'. The BJP won a record 115 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation elections, with 73 candidates set to become corporators for the first time.

However, the official gazette notification from the state's urban development department has not yet been issued, yet many victorious candidates have intensified their regional activities. According to sources, some leaders are continuously visiting the field in hopes of securing positions and places in committees. Photos taken during inspections with municipal officials are also being shared on social media.

This is being viewed in political circles as a strategy to secure positions in the upcoming standing committee and other important committees. In several areas, one or two victorious candidates were seen touring with a team of officials, leading to discussions of discontent among other panel members.

Meanwhile, there are questions among the general public about whether this proactivity will continue for the next five years or if it will be limited to initial political enthusiasm. Currently, this rush that began after the election results has become the center of discussion in Surat's politics.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel demonstrated their vigilance and prompt action by successfully recovering a lost purse belonging to a passenger at Surat Airport, along with the cash inside it.

The incident reportedly took place on May 7, 2026. According to information, a passenger traveling from Surat Airport to Kolkata via Jaipur found an abandoned purse near boarding gate number 2. The passenger immediately handed over the purse to the CISF personnel on duty in the Domestic SHA area.

As part of the security procedure, the purse was examined, revealing ₹560 in cash. The purse was then handed over to the terminal manager for safekeeping. After some time, the purse owner's relatives arrived at the airport and stated that there was approximately ₹12,000 in cash in the purse.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the CISF vigilance team promptly began reviewing CCTV footage and intensified efforts to identify the relevant passenger. Additionally, vigilance staff stationed at Jaipur and Kolkata airports were alerted. After technical investigation and continuous coordination, contact was established with the relevant passenger.

During questioning, he admitted to having withdrawn ₹11,600 from the purse. Following the intervention of CISF officials, the process of returning the amount was completed amicably through an online transfer between both parties. After the purse owner declined to file a police complaint, a written apology was obtained from the relevant passenger at Kolkata airport, and he was released with a stern warning for the future.

After the incident, the affected passenger and his family praised the vigilance, professionalism, and prompt action of the CISF personnel. CISF officials stated that the force is fully committed to the safety and service of passengers.

A significant number of workers and labor leaders participated and expressed strong opposition to the new labor codes being implemented by the central government.

Addressing the conference, the president of Gujarat INTUC, Naishadh Desai, stated that the situation of workers in Surat is becoming alarming. He alleged that workers are being made to work for 14 to 15 hours in industrial units, which is severely affecting their health. He also mentioned that most units do not provide adequate safety equipment to workers, leading to fatalities or serious injuries in accidents.

He pointed out that most workers in the city are still deprived of basic facilities such as minimum wage, PF, and ESIC. In such circumstances, workers need to organize and fight for their rights. The spokesperson for the labor union, Shan Khan, stated that the government is abolishing old labor laws under the guise of reform and implementing new labor codes that are anti-worker and in favor of capitalists.

He claimed that the implementation of the new labor codes would weaken fundamental rights of workers, such as union operations and strikes. He called on workers to unite and fight for the protection of their rights.

During the program, 101 women workers were distributed sarees with the support of parcel transport contractors from the textile market. The conference was attended by a large number of workers, including Umashankar Mishra, Saroj Tiwari, Aarti Patel, Dinesh Pandey, Asif Khalifa, and Kailashpati Shukla.

The main accused, Shubham, attempted to escape by firing at the crime branch team during the recovery of weapons.

In response, police fired back, injuring him in both legs. The injured accused has been admitted to New Civil Hospital under tight police security. According to reports, the Surat crime branch team had reached Kanyasi village in Surat rural with Shubham and his accomplice Vikas, who were on a seven-day remand.

The police were reconstructing the crime scene and recovering the weapons and mobile used in the robbery. During interrogation, Shubham revealed that he had hidden a pistol and mobile near a drain close to a field. While the police were conducting the recovery operation, the accused suddenly snatched the pistol from a police officer and opened fire on the team, causing chaos at the scene.

Sensing the situation, ACP Kiran Modi fired back in self-defense. The police bullets hit Shubham in both legs, causing him to fall injured at the scene. Immediately after the incident, the police took the accused into custody and rushed him to New Civil Hospital for treatment.

Security in the entire area has been heightened, and a detailed investigation is ongoing. Police officials stated that vigilance prevented a major incident and the accused was re-arrested. It is noteworthy that the robbery at the SBI bank in Varachha occurred on April 27, 2026.

Investigations revealed that the mastermind behind this incident is the notorious criminal Kundan Kumar, also known as Kundan Bhagat, who is imprisoned in Beur Central Jail in Bihar. According to the police, Kundan was directing his gang members through a special app while in jail. Kundan Bhagat had previously been involved in the 12 crore rupee Reliance Jewelry heist in Dehradun.

The police had arrested Shubham and Vikas from Uttar Pradesh and brought them to Surat. The investigation also revealed that the gang had surveilled around 10 bank branches in Surat before the incident.

Ultimately, they targeted the SBI branch in Varachha because traffic was relatively low there due to metro construction work. The accused had planned to execute the robbery during the Surat Municipal Corporation elections to take advantage of the police being busy with election duties, allowing them a chance to escape.

Now, with such an effective plot, the new Marathi film ‘Mardini’ is coming to the audience. The poster launch of the film has been unveiled, and the official announcement of the film has been made . The first glimpse revealed in the poster and the meaningful caption on it are increasing the curiosity of the audience about the film. This film, which tells the story of female power, struggle, self-respect and the strength of a mother, is set to release on July 3, 2026.

Presented by Shreyas Talpade, produced by Affluence Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. and ODI Group, ‘Mardini’ is not only based on female power, but also a story that focuses on the emotional world of a mother. The caption on the poster, “Aai Tari Tila Kon Maari” means that the mother lights a flame for children and a pyre for demons… This caption gives an effective glimpse of the content of the film. A mother is not just an image of love, affection and protection, but when her children are in trouble, she takes on a tough and fearless form and stands up to protect them, a sentiment that will be effectively conveyed through this story.

The film will witness the emotional journey of a mother’s struggle, her fight for her family and her determination not to bow down to the situation. The central concept of this film is how an ordinary woman deals with the situation to keep her children safe and when the time comes, she takes on a powerful form like ‘Mardini’. Therefore, this film will not be limited to entertainment alone but will provide an emotional and inspiring experience.

Actors like Prarthana Behere, Abhijit Khandkekar, Jitendra Joshi, Rajesh Bhosale will be seen in important roles in the film. Their performances will make the story more effective, and the role of child artist Myra Vaikul will add an emotional dimension to the story. The choice of actors and the strength of the subject matter are increasing the curiosity about ‘Mardini’.

Directed by Ajay Mayekar, ‘Mardini’ is his directorial debut and is being produced by Deepti Talpade. Co-producer Tina Rakesh Kothari, cinematography by Shabbir Naik, editing by Abhishek Sheth, music by Hitesh Modak, and screenplay and dialogue by Mahabaleshwar Narvekar have provided a strong support to the technical side of the film.

The first glimpse of the journey of ‘Mardini’ through the unveiling of the poster launch has started creating the buzz about this film. The film, which centers around the emotional story of a mother’s love, protection and struggle, will be released on July 3, 2026 and is expected to offer a different cinematic experience to the audience.

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com. What was once driven largely by traditional advertising and campaign-based marketing is now increasingly shaped by consistent, content-led engagement.

According to Mukul Purohit, founder of Kontent Media, this shift is not just a trend but a structural change in how modern brands operate.

“We are moving towards a phase where companies are not just businesses—they are also becoming content ecosystems,” he explains.

The Rise of Content as a Core Business Function

Across industries such as fintech, crypto, and real estate, companies are increasingly investing in short-form video content to stay relevant and visible.

This change is largely driven by evolving consumer behavior. Today’s audience spends a significant amount of time consuming content on platforms like Instagram and YouTube, making content a primary touchpoint between brands and consumers.

Rather than relying solely on paid campaigns, businesses are now focusing on:

Building familiarity through regular content

Educating their audience through short-form videos

Creating a consistent digital presence

As a result, content is no longer treated as a marketing add-on but as a core business function.

The Execution Challenge

While the importance of content is widely acknowledged, execution remains a major challenge for most organizations.

Many companies begin with strong intent but struggle to maintain consistency over time. The challenges often include:

Lack of structured workflows

Limited in-house bandwidth

Delays in production and approvals

Difficulty in scaling output

“Creating a few videos is not the challenge,” says Purohit. “The real challenge is sustaining content production at scale, month after month.”

Building Content Systems, Not Just Campaigns

This gap between intent and execution is where Kontent Media has positioned itself differently.

Instead of focusing only on creative ideation, the company has built systems that enable brands to produce content at scale with consistency.

With a team of over 50 professionals, Kontent Media currently produces more than 500 videos every month for clients across sectors.

“Our focus has always been on building execution infrastructure,” Purohit shares. “We believe consistency drives results more than isolated creativity.”

The company works closely with brands to streamline their content workflows, ensuring that production, editing, and delivery happen seamlessly.

Why Scale Matters More Than Ever

As competition for attention increases, the frequency and consistency of content have become key differentiators.

Brands that publish regularly are more likely to:

Stay top-of-mind among their audience

Build stronger engagement over time

Improve organic reach across platforms

This has made scalability a crucial factor in content strategy.

“Today, it’s not just about creating good content,” Purohit adds. “It’s about showing up consistently. That’s where most companies need support.”

Looking Ahead

As digital platforms continue to evolve, the role of content in business growth is expected to expand further.

For many companies, this means rethinking how content is planned, produced, and distributed.

The shift towards content-first operations may still be in its early stages, but one thing is clear—businesses that are able to adapt to this new model are likely to have a significant advantage in the years ahead.

About Kontent Media

Kontent Media is a content execution company specializing in high-volume video production for brands across fintech, crypto, and real estate sectors. It embodies the experience of skincare that genuinely works. Drawing inspiration from the Charak Samhita, the brand addresses a wide spectrum of everyday skin concerns, including pigmentation, breakouts, dehydration, dark spots, uneven texture, dullness, scarring, and early signs of ageing, among others, through formulations designed to work in harmony with the skin’s natural biology.

“Think about how modern skincare has evolved – new ingredients, new actives, new everything. But where do all these ingredients ultimately come from? If you trace any of them back far enough, they lead somewhere in nature. That has always been the source. Long before structured skincare routines existed, we were already using these ingredients in our daily lives. In many ways, what we are doing today is returning to those roots, but with a deeper understanding of how to refine and use them effectively,” said Meeta Ghuwalewala, Founder, TVAH

At the heart of its formulations lies Shata Dhauta Ghrita, a 100-times-washed A2 ghee known for its soothing, reparative, and conditioning properties. Naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, this ingredient forms a lightweight yet nourishing base suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The traditional process of repeatedly washing the ghee transforms it into a soft, cream-like texture that feels weightless on the skin while enhancing its bioavailability. This process is also understood to amplify its cooling and anti-inflammatory properties, helping calm irritation, reduce redness, and support the skin’s natural repair process. Some products in the range are powered by Shata Dhauta Ghrita for its restorative benefits, while others are enriched with pure A2 ghee to deliver lasting nourishment in fast-absorbing formulations.

A Brand Born from Experience

Meeta’s path to founding TVAH was shaped by two parallel journeys – professional and personal. Beginning her career at Vistta Cosmetics, she immersed herself in formulation science from the ground up, working closely with her research and development team to create products that are both market-relevant and clinically sound. This experience sparked a growing curiosity to explore how India’s rich botanical heritage could be translated into skincare that feels relevant, effective, and accessible today.

Her own experience with sensitive skin made this exploration more personal, leading her to look closely at ingredients rooted in India’s traditions and their everyday skin benefits. It brought her back to the idea of using time-tested ingredients in a way that works for modern skin. TVAH is the result of that thinking, a brand built on getting back to roots, supported by strong formulation expertise, and created to meet real, everyday skincare needs. By reworking traditional practices through modern formulation techniques, the brand offers a thoughtful alternative in today’s evolving beauty landscape.

As consumers increasingly seek transparency, efficacy, and ingredient integrity, TVAH enters the market with a clear point of view that high-performance skincare does not need to be complex to be effective. By combining time-tested ingredients with rigorous formulation practices, the brand aims to shape a more conscious and rooted approach to everyday skincare, while continuing to expand its product portfolio in the months ahead.

About TVAH

TVAH is a ghee-based skincare brand rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by modern formulation science. Designed to be effective yet gentle, the brand focuses on creating high-performance formulations that support overall skin health while addressing everyday concerns.

Launch Date: 8th May 2026
Website: www.tvah.in

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com. The raids, which began on Thursday morning, continued until 1 AM the following day.

According to sources from the investigating agency, three accused have been arrested following the searches. The arrested individuals are Deepak Singh Ahlawat, Prithvi Kumar, and Vikas Taneja. Deepak Singh Ahlawat is a resident of Haryana, while Prithvi Kumar hails from Uttarakhand.

During the operation, the ED reportedly seized several important documents, electronic devices, and other digital evidence related to the investigation. Sources indicated that this case pertains to an alleged money laundering network linked to online betting and gaming worth approximately ₹1,000 crore. The ED's Bengaluru regional office has taken action against M/s Gamescraft Technology Private Limited, its directors, and several other accused related to the case.

Officials stated that several FIRs had previously been registered at local police stations in Bengaluru regarding this matter. Subsequently, the ED took over the investigation under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and initiated further action. The agency had also conducted a search operation last year in a separate but related case involving M/s Gamescraft Technology Private Limited and other companies.

Between November 18 and November 22 of the previous year, the ED raided the offices of M/s Directive Network Private Limited (NNPL), M/s Gamescraft Technologies Private Limited (GTPL), as well as the residences of their directors and other suspects. This investigation was initiated based on FIRs filed by the Karnataka police. According to the ED, the FIRs alleged that the gaming platform 'Pocket52', operated by NNPL, was involved in large-scale fraud, including manipulation of game outcomes, collusion among players, technical glitches, restrictions on withdrawals, and lack of transparency on the platform.

These discussions will be in sync with India’s larger goal of achieving net-zero and the vision of Viksit Bharat, with bioenergy playing a significant part in the transition of energy in the country.

Commenting on the opening of the summit, Gaurav Kedia, Chairman, Indian Biogas Association, said, “It is evident from the Indian bioenergy ecosystem through BBB 2026 how resilient and capable the system is. It is clear from the contribution and support received from all stakeholders involved in the process that there are some significant trends in the usage of renewable energy sources. “The Indian biogas sector is a major catalyst that will propel India towards a green economy and ensure energy security.”

Colonel Rohit Dev, Founder, Reveille Energy said, “The proposed Framework is aligned with “Paths to Prosperity” through Sustainable Energy and Agriculture Synergies which must be defined as ‘National Developmental Priorities” within ambit of #AatmanirbharBharat with climate-resilient farming, and the development of a circular bioeconomy at its core”.

He emphasised that a Rural Development Model with Energy Security at the Core and integrating renewable energy generation with sustainable farming practices, education, healthcare etc has the potential to enhance the “Happiness Quotient” and herald the Nation towards #ViksitBharat2047.

He reiterated the Vision of the Honourable Prime Minister of “Ann Daata se Urja Daata” and perennial slogan of “Jai Jawan Jai Kissan” while emphasizing on Workforce Management in the Renewable Energy Space and called for due focus on Finance, R&D and Processes to enhance Entrepreneurship in this domain.

Given the involvement of stakeholders and a focused agenda on innovation, policies, finance, and enterprises, BBB 2026 will definitely become a convergent point for the industry.

The “Indian Biogas Association” (IBA) is the first and largest nationwide and professional biogas association for stakeholders of the biogas industry including Technology providers, Project developers, Plant operators and planners of biogas plants, and representatives from public policy, science and research in India. The association was established in 2011 and revamped in 2015 to promote a greener future through biogas. The motto of the association is “propagating biogas in a sustainable way”. The association also has collaborations with the following organizations:

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL)

Hydrogen Association of India (HAI)

Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy

Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University)

Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI), Gujarat

Skill Council for Green Job

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com. The initiative, led by Yogesh Dixit along with co-founders Manish Dixit, Kumar Shivam, and Kapil Dhiman (Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer), aims to bridge the gap between tradition and technology by connecting devotees, temples, and local vendors through a single digital ecosystem.

A Timely Launch in a Growing Market

India’s e-commerce industry is projected to surpass $200 billion by the end of the decade, with specialized platforms gaining traction among consumers seeking authenticity and convenience. Against this backdrop, Metagod Creator’s marketplace arrives at a pivotal moment, offering devotees worldwide easy access to ritual items, temple offerings, and spiritual products that are often difficult to source online.

The platform’s timing is significant: while mainstream e-commerce giants dominate categories like fashion, electronics, and groceries, spiritual and temple-related products remain largely underserved. Metagod Creator seeks to fill this gap by digitizing temple ecosystems and empowering small vendors who have traditionally relied on local foot traffic.

Empowering Vendors and Preserving Tradition

Many temple vendors, artisans, and small shop owners lack an online presence, limiting their ability to reach a wider audience. Metagod Creator addresses this challenge by providing a unified platform where these businesses can list and sell their products directly to customers across India and abroad.

By doing so, the company not only supports livelihoods but also helps preserve cultural heritage. Products such as ritual kits, prasad, idols, and incense will be available in one place, ensuring devotees can access authentic items while vendors benefit from expanded reach and income.

“Our vision is to create a sustainable ecosystem where temples and vendors thrive in the digital age,” said Yogesh Dixit. “Metagod Creator is more than a marketplace—it’s a bridge between tradition and technology, designed to keep cultural practices alive while making them accessible to modern devotees.”

Focus on Authenticity and Convenience

The platform emphasizes quality and authenticity, ensuring that devotees receive trusted products directly linked to temple traditions. By simplifying the purchasing process, Metagod Creator enhances convenience for users while maintaining the sanctity of spiritual practices.

Kapil Dhiman, Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer, added: “We are committed to building a platform that respects tradition while embracing innovation. This is about creating opportunities for vendors and artisans, while giving devotees confidence that what they purchase is genuine and meaningful.”

Global Reach with Local Roots

While the platform is rooted in India’s temple traditions, its vision extends globally. With millions of devotees living abroad, Metagod Creator aims to serve the diaspora by offering access to authentic spiritual products that connect them to their heritage.

This global ambition reflects a broader trend in e-commerce, where niche platforms are increasingly catering to specific communities and cultural needs. By positioning itself as the first spiritual marketplace of its kind, Metagod Creator is poised to become a leader in this emerging category.

Looking Ahead

Metagod Creator is currently in active development, with plans to roll out its marketplace in phases. The team is focused on building partnerships with temples, vendors, and artisans to ensure a diverse and authentic product offering. As the platform grows, it aims to become the go-to destination for spiritual commerce, blending tradition with technology in a way that resonates with modern consumers.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a detailed eight-page security directive to all 10 franchises of the IPL.

In a letter written by BCCI Secretary Devjeet Saikia, players have been warned about serious threats such as 'honey trapping' and targeted sexual exploitation. The board has made it clear that unauthorized individuals are strictly prohibited from entering players' hotel rooms. Now, written permission from the team manager will be mandatory for any guest meeting, and meetings can only take place in the hotel lobby or public areas.

The board believes that non-compliance with these protocols could pose a significant risk to player safety and the board's reputation. The BCCI has also emphasized maintaining the sanctity of reserved areas (PMOA) for players and match officials during matches. The board has expressed concern over incidents where franchise owners attempt to make physical contact with players or hug them during matches.

According to the new directives, owners and their representatives are strictly prohibited from communicating with players in the dugout, dressing room, or on the field during matches. The board has clarified that even if such behavior is well-intentioned, it will be considered interference in match operations, and disciplinary action will be taken for any violations. To maintain discipline during the tournament, the board has also taken a strict stance on the consumption of banned substances.

Recently addressing incidents of 'vaping' (e-cigarettes) in the dressing room, the BCCI reminded that e-cigarettes are completely banned under Indian law. The directive clearly states that the use of vaping or any other narcotic substances in the dressing room, dugout, team hotel, and practice areas not only violates BCCI rules but is also a legal offense. The board has instructed all franchise managers to ensure that all stakeholders are fully informed of these rules before each match.

This film has established a unique cultural identity and is set to win the hearts of audiences across the country on May 17 at 1 PM.

Lalo has garnered significant praise from viewers as an outstanding film, showcasing a powerful story, excellent acting, and deep cultural insights. In theaters, the film not only achieved remarkable earnings but also became a topic of discussion among various communities, successfully securing a special place among the most beloved Gujarati films in recent times. The film's theme related to devotion and its emotional story touched the hearts of the audience, making it a major hit and a favorite among critics.

The film tells the story of Lalji Dhansukh Parmar, an ordinary rickshaw driver who gets trapped in a farmhouse, where he confronts problems related to his past, guided by Lord Krishna. What was once a leisurely five-day affair gradually transformed into a faster, sharper, and more entertainment-driven spectacle. From 60-over One Day Internationals to 50-overs, then to the explosive rise of T20 cricket and the experimental arrival of T10 and The Hundred, the sport has consistently evolved to match changing audience behaviour.

Now, with fans increasingly gravitating toward shorter attention-span entertainment and instant digital engagement, an intriguing question is beginning to emerge within cricketing circles: could the rise of rapid cricket formats eventually pave the way for T60 — a one-hour, 60-ball-per-side version of the game?

While still hypothetical, the idea of T60 is no longer as far-fetched as it once sounded. The foundations for such a format are already visible in cricket’s modern ecosystem, where innovation, entertainment and commercial viability are becoming equally important pillars alongside sporting excellence.

The success of franchise-based T20 leagues across the globe demonstrated that audiences were willing to embrace shorter, more aggressive cricket. Stadiums became louder, broadcasts became flashier and matches became prime-time entertainment properties. The introduction of T10 cricket in Abu Dhabi further accelerated this shift, proving that even ultra-condensed formats could attract global viewership, sponsorships and marquee players. Similarly, England’s The Hundred attempted to simplify cricket for newer audiences through shorter innings and streamlined rules. Together, these formats indicate that cricket administrators are increasingly open to experimentation in pursuit of wider reach and younger demographics.

In many ways, T60 appears like the natural extension of this evolution — a format designed specifically for the era of rapid consumption, mobile entertainment, and digital-first audiences.

If introduced, T60 would compress an entire cricket match into approximately one hour, making it one of the fastest professional team sports formats globally. Every over would carry heightened significance, with players forced into immediate decision-making and relentless attacking gameplay.

Former cricketers and analysts believe such a format could dramatically reshape the tactical structure of cricket. Traditional concepts like innings-building, patient bowling spells, and recovery phases may almost disappear. Batters would need to attack from ball one, while bowlers would operate under immense pressure where even a single poor over could alter the outcome of the match.

Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar believes cricket’s evolution has always reflected audience preferences and changing times.

“Cricket has already accelerated massively over the years. If a match ever comes down to just 60 balls per side, every delivery would feel decisive,” he said. According to him, traditional pacing in batting would virtually disappear. “There would be no settling in. Players would have to attack immediately, and the margin for error would be minimal,” Vengsarkar adds.

Bowlers, he feels, would also operate under extreme pressure in such a condensed format. “One expensive over could swing the entire match. In a game that short, momentum would shift in seconds.”

Even as such possibilities generate curiosity, experts emphasize that experimentation must coexist with tradition. Vengsarkar believes shorter formats can complement rather than replace the longer versions of the game. “Cricket’s strength is its variety,” he says, adding, “Innovation is welcome, but the longer formats must always remain the foundation.”

Supporters of ultra-short cricket argue that T60 could unlock entirely new audiences, especially younger viewers accustomed to consuming entertainment in shorter formats across social media and streaming platforms. A one-hour cricket event could fit seamlessly into weekday prime-time slots, making it easier for working professionals and casual viewers to engage with the sport.

From a commercial standpoint, too, T60 could create fresh opportunities for broadcasters, sponsors, and franchise owners. Faster matches could mean tighter scheduling, more double-headers, and higher viewer retention in a competitive entertainment landscape.

However, critics remain sceptical about how much further cricket can be compressed without losing its strategic depth. Many believe the emotional ebb and flow of cricket, the tension built over sessions, partnerships, and momentum swings is what makes the sport unique compared to other fast-paced games.

Yet history suggests that cricket has rarely resisted reinvention when audiences show an appetite for change. T20 itself was once dismissed as a gimmick before becoming cricket’s biggest commercial success story.

Today, with rapid formats continuing to gain popularity worldwide, the possibility of T60 no longer feels purely speculative. Whether it eventually becomes an official format or remains a conceptual debate, one thing is certain — cricket’s evolution is far from over.

And if the sport continues moving toward speed, spectacle, and entertainment-led experiences, T60 may well represent the next chapter in cricketainment’s ongoing rise.

This layer, often invisible to patients, plays a decisive role in determining the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic outcomes.

In modern healthcare, diagnostic accuracy depends not only on laboratory capabilities but also on how effectively samples are handled before they reach the lab. Delays, temperature fluctuations, or compromised handling can significantly impact test results.

Credent has built its business by addressing these challenges at scale. Its logistics network is designed to manage time-sensitive biological samples under strict protocols, ensuring consistency across geographies.

By focusing on this pre-analytical phase, the company enables diagnostic laboratories to expand operations without compromising on quality—an increasingly important factor as demand for testing grows across urban and semi-urban India.

Over the years, Credent has developed a nationwide network that reflects both reach and operational depth. The company is currently present in over 450 cities and covers more than 20,000 PIN codes, supported by a trained field force exceeding 6,500 professionals.

₹200 Cr+Revenue FY26

~40%Revenue CAGR

10L+Samples / Month

450+Cities

6,500+Field Professionals

20,000+PIN Codes

It handles over 10 lakh samples every month, providing a mix of intra-city and inter-city logistics, along with home collection and supply chain management services for healthcare providers.

This scale positions the company as a key operational partner for diagnostic labs seeking reliability in sample movement—a requirement that has grown in importance with the rise of preventive healthcare and home-based diagnostics.

India’s healthcare industry is projected to grow at a steady pace, with diagnostics emerging as one of its fastest-growing segments. However, industry experts note that laboratory expansion alone is insufficient to meet rising demand.

Credent operates at this intersection of healthcare and infrastructure, building a network-driven model that combines logistics precision with domain-specific expertise. The operational complexity involved in handling biological samples—ranging from compliance requirements to temperature sensitivity—creates a high barrier to entry, offering long-term competitive advantages to established players.

According to Tarun Sharma, Managing Director of Credent Connect N Care Limited, the company’s role goes beyond logistics. “Healthcare growth in India depends on how efficiently we can move patient samples to diagnostic services even from remote towns.

Credent is building that connectivity infrastructure—ensuring samples move faster, safer, and more reliably across the country.”

As healthcare delivery in India evolves toward preventive care, decentralized testing, and home diagnostics, the importance of pre-analytical logistics is expected to increase significantly.

Industry observers believe that companies capable of building robust, compliant, and scalable logistics networks will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of diagnostics growth.

With its expanding footprint, operational scale, and focus on reliability, Credent Connect N Care Limited is positioning itself as a foundational player in this ecosystem—quietly powering the systems that make timely and accurate diagnostics possible.

Across homes, offices, hostels, and international households, millions of people are searching for meals that fit demanding schedules while still delivering nourishment and comfort. Yet the ready-to-eat food category has long struggled with one persistent perception—that convenience usually comes at the cost of quality.

For years, consumers have had to choose between two extremes. On one side were time-consuming traditional meals that required planning, preparation, and effort. On the other side were fast meal options that often relied on preservatives, artificial ingredients, excessive sodium, or compromised flavor profiles. This gap in the market created a clear need for a new standard—one where convenience could coexist with authenticity and quality.

That is precisely where Ziply5 has begun to make a powerful impact. Under the leadership of Siddhardha Nallamothu, Managing Director of Ziply5, the brand is emerging as a serious disruptor in India’s evolving food convenience segment by proving that ready-to-eat meals do not need to sacrifice soul, tradition, or trust.

Rather than entering the market with just another packaged food line, Ziply5 has positioned itself around a more meaningful promise: authentic Indian meals, prepared with traditional inspiration, free from unnecessary shortcuts, and ready within minutes. This is not merely product innovation—it is category correction.

The Indian consumer today is more informed than ever before. They read labels. They compare ingredients. They care about nutritional value. They seek transparency from brands. They want products that respect their palate as much as their schedule. In this environment, brands that rely only on flashy packaging or convenience claims are unlikely to earn long-term loyalty. Consumers now demand substance.

Ziply5 appears to understand this shift deeply. Its ready-to-eat portfolio focuses on preservative-free meal solutions, no added MSG, no artificial colors, and flavor experiences rooted in familiar Indian recipes. This combination addresses one of the most significant unmet needs in the market: trust-based convenience.

When people consume ready meals regularly, trust becomes more important than novelty. Consumers want to know what they are eating, how it was made, and whether it aligns with their long-term well-being. Ziply5’s focus on ingredient integrity helps build that confidence.

At the same time, the brand does not ignore the emotional role food plays in Indian life. In India, meals are not transactional—they are cultural, familial, and deeply personal. Taste memories are tied to kitchens, festivals, mothers, grandmothers, and regional traditions. That is why many convenience products fail: they solve for time, but not for emotional satisfaction.

Ziply5 addresses both.

Its offerings such as Veg Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Pongal, Semiya Upma, Sambar Rice, Palak Chicken Rice, and Prawn Biryani reflect a product strategy rooted in familiarity and diversity. These are not random SKUs designed for shelf expansion. They are dishes people already love, now adapted for modern lifestyles without losing their recognizable identity.

This matters because food adoption happens faster when brands respect consumer memory. People are more willing to embrace convenience when it tastes like something they already trust.

From a business perspective, Ziply5 is operating at the intersection of several high-growth consumer trends. The first is urban time scarcity. Professionals increasingly work longer hours, commute more, and have less time for cooking. The second is nuclear family living, where fewer people share household cooking responsibilities. The third is global mobility, with students and professionals living away from home. The fourth is rising demand for clean-label packaged foods.

Any brand that successfully serves all four trends simultaneously holds strong long-term market potential. Ziply5 is positioning itself exactly there.

The company’s relevance extends beyond Indian metros. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are also seeing changing food consumption patterns, with growing acceptance of premium convenience products. Meanwhile, the Indian diaspora worldwide remains emotionally connected to authentic Indian meals but often lacks time or access to cook them daily. For these audiences, a trusted ready-to-eat Indian brand can become a lifestyle staple rather than an occasional purchase.

What further strengthens Ziply5’s authority is the philosophy articulated by Siddhardha Nallamothu. His vision suggests that convenience should not replace tradition—it should intelligently carry it forward. That distinction is critical. Many food brands modernize by abandoning heritage. Stronger brands modernize by preserving what matters and upgrading what does not.

In practical terms, Ziply5 seems to have fast-forwarded only the preparation time, not the culinary intent. That is a far more sustainable model than simply industrializing recipes into generic products.

There is also a strong operational advantage in building products around authentic Indian cuisine. India’s culinary diversity allows room for regional expansion, premiumization, festive variants, health-forward versions, and export potential. A brand that earns trust in core meals today can evolve into a much larger food ecosystem tomorrow.

Beyond retail and individual consumption, Ziply5 is also expanding its relevance into the HORECA sector—covering hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering services. This is a segment where operational efficiency and consistency are critical challenges. Establishments frequently deal with rising labor costs, peak-hour demand surges, food wastage, and the need to maintain consistent taste across multiple service cycles.

Ziply5’s preservative-free ready-to-eat meals, which can be prepared within 3–5 minutes using minimal heating or hot water, provide a practical solution in such environments. Businesses can expand their menus with well-loved Indian dishes like biryani, pongal, sambar rice, or paneer-based meals without heavy dependence on skilled kitchen staff or large infrastructure.

In buffet setups, these products allow faster replenishment, better portion control, and reduced wastage. For hotels, they can serve as efficient breakfast or in-room dining options. For restaurants, they can support staff meals or backup during high-demand hours. In large-scale catering scenarios—such as corporate events, weddings, and institutional functions—Ziply5 enables consistent quality at scale while optimizing cost and time.

This positions Ziply5 not just as a consumer-facing brand, but as a strategic partner for HORECA businesses aiming to balance authenticity with speed, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

Importantly, Ziply5’s story also reflects a wider shift in Indian entrepreneurship. New-age founders are no longer copying western convenience models blindly. Instead, they are building Indian-first products for Indian realities. They understand that local taste preferences, cultural food behavior, and emotional eating patterns cannot be ignored.

That founder-led authenticity often becomes a brand’s biggest advantage. Siddhardha Nallamothu’s stated inspiration from his mother’s kitchen reinforces that this is not a purely commercial exercise—it is a consumer problem being solved through personal conviction. Markets respond strongly when brands are built from lived truth rather than manufactured positioning.

As the ready-to-eat category becomes more competitive, only a few brands will command lasting authority. Those winners will likely share common traits: credibility, product consistency, emotional resonance, ingredient trust, and relevance to modern life. Ziply5 appears to be building across all five pillars.

The broader message is clear. Convenience food no longer has to mean compromise. Ready meals no longer need to feel artificial. Traditional Indian dishes no longer need to remain trapped in time-intensive formats.

Ziply5 is helping reshape consumer expectations by showing that fast can still be authentic, packaged can still be trustworthy, and modern can still feel like home.

That is more than a product success story. It is the emergence of a new benchmark for India’s ready-to-eat future.

To explore the brand’s growing range of meal solutions, visit https://www.ziply5.com/ and experience how tradition is being reimagined for today’s world.

Products are available on Ziply5 website and Amazon

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com. Both paths had ceilings. The first capped delivery quality. The second capped how fast the business could grow.

What has emerged in the last few years is a third path, one that increasingly looks less like shipping and more like infrastructure. Shipping orchestration platforms, which integrate multiple couriers, warehousing, payments, returns and customer communication into a single software layer, have moved from a niche category to the default operating model for India’s direct-to-consumer economy. Shiprocket, which today has worked with over 4,00,000 sellers, including leading D2C brands such as Boat, Mamaearth, Snitch, Lotus Herbals and Levi’s, is the clearest expression of where this category is heading. The economics behind the shift are worth examining because they explain why so many Indian D2C brands have quietly migrated to this model.

The hidden cost of single-courier shipping

Delivery performance in India is not uniform. A courier that performs well in Delhi NCR can underperform in Tier-2 markets. Weather disruptions, regional capacity constraints and inconsistent last-mile execution affect timelines and success rates in ways that are difficult to forecast at the contract stage. For brands operating on thin margins, even a small increase in return-to-origin (RTO) orders or delayed deliveries has a disproportionate impact on profitability.

Industry estimates put RTO rates for Indian e-commerce shipments at 20-30 per cent for certain categories, particularly cash-on-delivery orders, according to Redseer. At those levels, the cost of a failed delivery isn’t just the reverse logistics charge. It includes the lost margin on the original sale, the working capital trapped in inventory cycling back through the network, the customer support overhead of handling the failure, and the opportunity cost of a customer who may not return.

Single-courier contracts, by their nature, can’t respond to this variance. Every shipment goes through the same partner, regardless of whether that partner is the right choice for that specific pin code, product category, or payment type.

Logistics as software

Aggregator-led platforms approach the problem differently. Rather than treating fulfilment as a linear movement of parcels, they operate as orchestration layers that route each shipment to the courier and pathway best suited to that specific order. The decision is made by software, using pin-code-level performance data, historical delivery success rates, average transit times, RTO trends, rather than by a procurement contract negotiated months earlier.

Shiprocket’s platform is the most widely adopted version of this model in India. It connects merchants to a network of 40+ active courier partners and extends to over 19,000 PIN codes domestically and 220+ countries internationally. According to platform data, brands using its multi-courier allocation and Non-Delivery Report management workflows have reported RTO reductions of 15–25 per cent. For a brand shipping 10,000 orders a month, even a 10 per cent reduction in RTO translates into measurable savings in reverse logistics, inventory holding costs and working capital efficiency.

The operational implication is significant. RTO stops being a fixed cost of doing business in India and becomes a variable that brands can actively manage.

There is a second-order effect that often gets overlooked. When courier selection is automated and outcome-driven, brands free up significant operational bandwidth that was previously consumed by managing carrier relationships, reconciling COD remittances, and manually triaging delivery exceptions. For founder-led D2C businesses in particular, this matters: the time and attention previously spent on logistics operations gets redirected to product, brand and growth, the activities that actually compound. The aggregator model, in this sense, isn’t just cheaper or faster. It changes what the operating team can focus on.

The inventory placement question

Beyond courier selection, the second lever unlocked by orchestration platforms is inventory placement. One of the most under-exploited levers in Indian e-commerce logistics is the location where stock is physically stored. Many brands continue to ship from a single warehouse, accepting the longer delivery timelines and higher shipping costs that follow when customers are far from that warehouse.

Distributed fulfilment changes that calculus. By analysing order density across pin-code clusters, brands can identify high-demand regions and place inventory across multiple fulfilment centres closer to consumption. The result is shorter shipping distances, lower forward shipping costs and faster delivery, with compounding effects on customer satisfaction, cancellation rates and repeat purchase behaviour.

Brands using Shiprocket’s warehousing and demand intelligence capabilities have reported reductions in average delivery timelines of nearly 20 per cent, alongside measurable shipping cost reductions for long-distance orders. Faster deliveries are not just an improvement in customer experience; they are a profitability improvement.

Why it’s important for India’s D2C decade

The pattern across the brands that have built logistics on platforms like Shiprocket is consistent. They have replaced fixed-cost thinking with outcome-based optimisation. The question they ask is no longer “which courier is cheapest?” It is “which combination of cost, speed and success rate produces the best overall business outcome?”

That is a meaningfully different operating posture, and it has consequences beyond shipping. Faster, more reliable delivery timelines surface at checkout and influence purchase decisions. Improved delivery predictability reduces customer support load. Closed-loop NDR management, where automated IVR, SMS and WhatsApp workflows engage customers when a delivery attempt fails, turns failed deliveries from sunk costs into recoverable orders. Each layer compounds with the others.

The strategic implication is that for the cohort of Indian D2C brands now scaling past their early growth phase, Shiprocket’s merchant base spans fashion, beauty, electronics, packaged food, home and a long tail of emerging categories; logistics has stopped being a back-office function. It has become a competitive moat.

India’s e-commerce market is set to keep widening geographically and deepening in category mix over the next decade. The brands that will scale through that expansion are unlikely to be the ones managing courier contracts manually. They will be the ones running on an orchestration infrastructure that can absorb the complexity for them. The quiet shift toward that model is already well underway. The question for the next wave of D2C founders is not whether to build on it, but how quickly to do so.

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com. This shift reflects a broader evolution in the sector, where the emphasis is no longer solely on adding capacity, but on ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and perform consistently over the long term.

“India’s renewable energy sector is now maturing where it is not merely about adding capacity but ensuring that projects are delivered on ground with focus on round-the-clock delivery,” said Puri.

While solar and wind capacities have scaled significantly, on-ground execution continues to face structural challenges. Issues such as land acquisition, tenancy constraints and forest clearances are affecting project timelines and slowing progress across multiple levels. At the same time, delays in transmission infrastructure have impacted over 50 GW of renewable capacity under development, highlighting the importance of grid readiness alongside generation growth and the need for more coordinated planning.

The sector is also witnessing delays due to unsigned Power Sale Agreements (PSAs), driven by changing procurement strategies among DISCOMs and large offtakers. These challenges underline the need for stronger alignment between policy, infrastructure and execution, ensuring that projects are not held back by contractual or procedural uncertainties.

In parallel, India’s battery energy storage system (BESS) market is shifting from aggressive tendering to execution-led deployment. Despite approximately 102 GWh of tenders issued in 2025, only about 0.7 GWh has been commissioned, reflecting a clear gap between bidding and implementation,

Highlighting this, RatulPuri stated that “the gap between aggressive tendering and actual commissioning highlights a structural shift where success in this market will now be defined by execution capability, not just bidding strength.”

Tariff compression has supported adoption but has also tightened margins, increasing the importance of well capitalised and serious bidders, lifecycle-based project evaluation, disciplined execution and supply chain readiness. Developers are increasingly focusing on projects with clear offtake visibility, and policy support to ensure long-term viability and stable returns in a competitive market environment.

“In a tariff-compressed environment, long-term viability depends on accurately accounting for lifecycle costs, where even small variations can materially impact project returns,” Ratul Puri said.

Hybrid energy systems integrating solar, transitional power, and storage are adding operational complexity, requiring advanced coordination through Energy Management Systems (EMS) for real-time optimisation. At the same time, digital solutions are becoming central to improving performance, enabling predictive maintenance, better forecasting and dynamic dispatch across markets.

RatulPuri further noted that “digital solutions are becoming the nerve centre of energy operations, enabling real-time optimisation, predictive maintenance and stronger performance across assets.”

Looking ahead, storage is expected to play a critical role in supporting grid stability and renewable integration, even as the sector navigates risks related to supply chains, pricing mechanisms and long-term sustainability. The next phase of growth will depend on the sector’s ability to combine scale with execution strength and operational efficiency, Ratul Puri added.

Ratul Puri concluded by stating that “storage is emerging as a critical pillar of grid stability, supporting renewable integration while creating new opportunities through evolving ancillary service markets.”

About Ratul Puri:

Ratul Puri is the Chairman of Hindustan Power, an integrated power generation company with a strong presence in renewable and transitional energy. Over the years, Ratul Puri has been actively involved in developing large-scale energy infrastructure projects that support India’s growing power requirements and its transition toward cleaner energy sources.

About Hindustan Power:

Hindustan Power is a leading integrated power generation company in India with a focus on renewable and transitional energy generation. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, the company has been an active contributor to India’s energy transformation.

If you object to the content of this press release, please notify us at pr.error.rectification@gmail.com.
