SGCCI Hosts Award Ceremony and Family Gathering at Creto Club

The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) Business Connect organized an award ceremony and family gathering at Creto Club, Surat, on Sunday. The event, chaired by SBC President Chirag Desai, saw over 100 guests, including SBC members and their families, in attendance.

The meeting commenced with a welcome address by President Chirag Desai and the inauguration of the award ceremony. The event was graced by SGCCI President Vijay Mevawala, Vice President Nikhil Madrasi, Honorary Secretary Nirav Mandlewala, Honorary Treasurer Mrinal Shukla, and Group Chairmen Bijal Jariwala and Bhavesh Taylor.

In his address, Chamber President Vijay Mevawala emphasized the importance of expanding SGCCI groups to create more business opportunities for members through the SGCCI Business Connect platform. Honorary Secretary Nirav Mandlewala shared valuable insights on networking, stressing the importance of building lasting relationships over mere contacts. He highlighted the need for personal development and thorough research to enhance networking effectiveness.

Chamber Group Chairman Deepak Kumar Shethwala reviewed the various activities organized by SBC during the year 2023-2024. Following this, an awards ceremony recognized outstanding contributions in several categories, including Most Active Power Team, Outstanding Power Team Captain, Highest Business Donor, Highest Referral, Best Event Hosting, and Outstanding Performance in SBC. RJ Meet was also honored at the ceremony.

SBC President Chirag Desai introduced the new Chairperson for the year 2024-25, Ms. Snehaben Jariwala, sharing her vision for the upcoming term, her new team, and the scheduled meetings.
