This evening, a devastating fire broke out at the Oyo Hotel situated on the third floor of the Midas Square Complex in the Parvat village area of Surat. The fire reportedly originated from the air conditioning duct in the storage room, igniting the POP, mattresses, sheets, and AC wiring stored there.

The blaze quickly spread, creating a terrifying scene as the entire hotel and building became engulfed in flames. The alarming sight caused panic among nearby residents and passersby.

Upon receiving the fire report, four fire brigade vehicles promptly arrived at the scene. Firefighters, equipped with oxygen masks and other necessary gear, managed to control the fire effectively.

In the swift response, two hotel guests and a staff member were rescued safely from the premises. Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties reported in this incident.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. The fire department has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
