Surat's Navyug Commerce College has become the first institution in India to launch Army, Navy, and Air Force certificate courses, after receiving approval from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The innovative courses, designed under the Agneepath scheme, are expected to boost recruitment opportunities for Agniveer candidates in all three branches of the military.

The university has introduced the Certificate and Diploma courses in alignment with the new National Education Policy and to better prepare students for future employment in the defense sector. Dr. Vinod Patel, Principal of Navyug College, revealed that the curriculum will focus heavily on practical education, with 80% practical learning and only 20% theoretical instruction. The courses are anticipated to be immensely beneficial for students planning to join the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

The Agniveer Yojana scheme provides an excellent career path for young people interested in the defense sector. Army Recruitment is open until March 20th, and Air Force Registration is available until March 31st for Gujarat's youth. Organized by Navyug Mahavidyalaya, the course will be conducted under the direct guidance of former Air Force Officer Haren Kumar Gandhi, in collaboration with Dr. Mehul Shah, and with the Pre Military Training Academy coordinating the course training.
