Surat: Advocate Preeti Joshi Reappointed as Member of District Panchayat's Internal Complaints Committee for Three Years

 

Surat. Senior advocate Preeti Jignesh Joshi has been reappointed as a member of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of the Surat District Panchayat for another three years.

This committee was formed under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act. Advocate Preeti Joshi has been associated with the legal profession for over 32 years. She has also served as a member of the Bar Council of Gujarat.

Given her extensive experience in social and legal matters, she has been entrusted once again with the responsibility of being a member of this important committee. The Internal Complaints Committee formed in the Surat District Panchayat is responsible for hearing complaints related to sexual harassment of women at the workplace, conducting investigations, and ensuring necessary actions in accordance with the law. Advocate Preeti Joshi's reappointment is seen as recognition of her legal experience, social contributions, and active role in matters related to women's rights.
