Vadodara: Special Arrangements by Vadodara Division for NEET Candidates at Major Stations
Comprehensive arrangements have been made by the Vadodara Division of Western Railway for the convenience of candidates and their guardians participating in the NEET exam scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at major stations within the division's jurisdiction, ensuring safe and smooth travel. As per a press release issued by Anubhav Saxena, the Public Relations Officer of Vadodara Division, special help desks are being established at Vadodara, Anand, and Bharuch stations to provide necessary guidance and assistance to the candidates.
Railway staff stationed at these help desks will provide information on train connectivity, special trains, and other necessary assistance. Considering the additional crowd at the stations for the convenience of candidates, three extra UTS counters will be opened in Vadodara and one each in Anand, Godhra, Bharuch, and Kheda/Nadiad. Additionally, special deployment of staff from the Commercial and Personnel Departments, as well as Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, will be made at these stations.
The deployed officers and staff will ensure effective management of crowd control, security arrangements, information dissemination, and passenger assistance. Public announcements and passenger information will be broadcasted at the stations from time to time to ensure safe, organized, and uninterrupted movement for candidates and their accompanying guardians. Special attention will be given to maintaining smooth movement for candidates and their guardians during the exam period, minimizing any inconvenience.
Senior officials will continuously monitor the situation and coordinate with station management and relevant departments to provide necessary assistance. The Vadodara Division will also ensure that train punctuality is maintained as much as possible, facilitating candidates to reach their destinations on time. Considering the potential additional crowd of passengers, the railway has planned to operate the following special trains: Train number 09471: Bandra Terminus – Maninagar Special will have stops at Surat, Bharuch, Vishwamitri, and Anand stations in the Vadodara Division.
Similarly, Train number 09351 Bandra Terminus – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will have stops at Surat, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Chhayapuri, and Godhra stations in the Vadodara Division. The Vadodara Division wishes all NEET candidates good luck for the exam and requests them to follow the instructions of railway staff during their journey.
