Surat. On the occasion of the successful completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure, the Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (FOSTA) organized a special event at the Millennium Market complex.
Traders and industry representatives highlighted the development works and various welfare schemes undertaken in the country under the Prime Minister's leadership. A special 12-meter long fabric showcased the achievements in development, good governance, the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, growth of the textile industry, women's empowerment, export growth, technological innovation, and various public welfare schemes over the past 12 years. Notably, this fabric was made from recycled plastic, conveying a message of environmental protection and sustainability.
The traders and officials present appreciated India's growing global reputation and development journey under the Prime Minister's leadership. Additionally, information was shared about various steps taken by the central government for the textile industry. Important topics such as PM Mitra Park, the technical textile mission, export promotion schemes, and job creation in the textile sector were explained through special presentations.
The members present also expressed their commitment to contribute to the realization of a developed and self-reliant India. The event was attended by FOSTA officials, representatives from various textile markets, and a large number of traders. In the end, all attendees pledged to continue contributing to nation-building while wishing for the health, success, and longevity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
