Vadodara: Several trains of Western Railway affected due to major block at Dadar and Naigaon

 

To enhance passenger safety and facilitate rail operations, Western Railway will carry out electronic interlocking commissioning at Dadar station and girder launching for a foot over bridge at Naigaon station. Major block will be taken on the suburban section during midnight of May 15/16, 2026, and May 16/17, 2026, affecting several mail and express trains.

According to a press release issued by Western Railway's Public Relations Officer Anubhav Saxena, the details of the affected trains are as follows: Train number 19016 Porbandar–Dadar Saurashtra Express, which will depart from Porbandar on May 15, 2026, will be short terminated at Borivali station. Train number 12927 Dadar–Ekta Nagar Superfast Express, which will depart on May 16, 2026, will short originate from Borivali station. The train will depart as per schedule on May 17, 2026.

Train number 19003 Dadar–Bhusawal Khandesh Express, which will depart on May 17, 2026, will be operated from Borivali station. Train number 22946 Okha–Dadar Saurashtra Mail, which will depart on May 16, 2026, will be controlled by 2 hours 15 minutes from Okha station and short terminated at Borivali station. Train number 09052 Bhusawal–Dadar Special, which will depart on May 16, 2026, will be delayed by 1 hour from Bhusawal.

Meanwhile, train number 12928 Ekta Nagar–Dadar Express, which will depart on May 16, 2026, will be controlled by 1 hour 30 minutes from Ekta Nagar station. Train number 14707 Hanumangarh–Dadar Express, which will depart on May 16, 2026, will be controlled by 30 minutes between Surat and Virar. Train number 22953 Mumbai Central–Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express, which will depart on May 17, 2026, will be delayed by 30 minutes from Mumbai Central.
