Raju Prabhakar Bhadke Takes Charge as New Divisional Railway Manager of Vadodara Division
Vadodara – Raju Prabhakar Bhadke has officially assumed charge as the new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Vadodara Division. A 1995 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), Bhadke took over the post from outgoing DRM Jitendra Singh.
Prior to this role, Bhadke held key positions including Chief Engineer (Track Machines) in Western Railway and Deputy Chief Engineer, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination), and Director (Project and Planning) at MRIDC in Central Railway. He began his railway career as an Assistant Engineer in Kurduwadi, Solapur Division.
Throughout his service in Western and Central Railways, Bhadke has achieved significant milestones, especially during his tenure as Chief Engineer (Track Machines) and Chief Engineer (Station Development), where he emphasized innovation, quality, and experimentation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree (M.Tech) in Water Resources Engineering.
After assuming office, Bhadke outlined his priorities, focusing on enhancing train operation safety, improving passenger amenities, upgrading infrastructure, accelerating track doubling and electrification, renewing old tracks, and boosting freight loading operations.
