SCET's 'Pustak Naad' Event Inspires Love for Books Among Students

Surat: The Kaliedoscope @SCET Club of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) recently organized the 'Pustak Naad' event to ignite a passion for reading among students. The primary aim of the event was to inspire students to develop a habit of reading and awaken their inner reader.

Special guest, Ms. Shimna, a teacher from Reliance Foundation School, Surat, and an avid book lover, guided students on the art of writing book reviews. She explained how a good book review can include the author's personality, the story, and the style of the book.

A major highlight of the event was the book review competition, where students presented creative reviews of their favorite books, encouraging critical thinking and creativity.

The event, organized by SCET, proved to be a significant step in raising awareness about the importance of reading among students. It not only provided students with an opportunity to broaden their knowledge but also helped in shaping them into better citizens.
