Surat Jeweller Crafts Silver Statue of PM Narendra Modi, Set to Present It Soon

Surat : Prime Minister Narendra Modi's immense popularity isn't confined to India; it resonates globally. Whether he's visiting foreign nations or engaging with people at home, there’s always an enthusiastic crowd eager to catch a glimpse of him. This trend continued during his recent visit to the United States, where expatriate Indians eagerly awaited his arrival.

PM Modi, known for his charismatic leadership, has garnered admiration from every corner of the world. His influence extends beyond politics; many people, including prominent figures in India, are known to place statues of him in their offices, homes, and establishments as a tribute. Joining this trend, a prominent jeweller from Surat has crafted a silver statue of the Prime Minister, which he plans to present to him soon.

Dilipbhai Tibdewal, the owner of Bishandayal Jewellers located on Ghod Dod Road, Surat, shared with Loktej that he was inspired to create a statue of PM Modi due to the leader's remarkable contributions to India’s progress. "Under PM Modi's leadership, our country is scaling new heights. His vision and leadership inspired us to craft a silver statue of him, which we hope to present in person soon," said Tibdewal.

The statue, made from three and a half kilograms of silver, stands at two and a half feet tall. According to Dilipbhai, eight artisans worked tirelessly for three months to bring this intricate piece to life. He further explained that while their jeweller business primarily creates silver idols of deities weighing between one and ten kilograms, this is the first time they’ve crafted a statue of a human, and it’s none other than Prime Minister Modi.

Dilipbhai added that they have already requested an appointment with the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and are awaiting confirmation. Once they receive the go-ahead, they will travel to Delhi to present the statue as a tribute to India’s beloved leader.
