Joint Raid in Vadodara Reveals 100 kg of Suspected Adulterated Ghee

Vadodara  — The Municipal Corporation and Police Department conducted a joint operation at Bansidhar Dairy in the Gotri area of Vadodara, seizing 100 kilograms of suspected adulterated ghee. The Food Safety Department of the Municipal Corporation Health Department confiscated the quantity, with samples sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Acting against food safety violations, the police and municipal corporation teams have initiated another crackdown on elements jeopardizing public health in the city. This morning, Gotri Police, in collaboration with the Food Safety Department, raided Bansidhar Dairy near Rameshwar School. The operation uncovered a substantial amount of suspected adulterated ghee, which was concealed within the dairy premises.

The raid caught the manager and employees of Bansidhar Dairy off-guard as the police and health department officials inspected the facility. Upon investigation, the team found the ghee's composition suspicious, raising concerns about its ingredients. The authorities have yet to determine the exact components used in the ghee, but they anticipate that the lab results might reveal alarming details.

Residents of the Gotri area have been purchasing milk, ghee, and other dairy products from this establishment for a while. The discovery of a significant amount of suspected adulterated ghee has caused a stir among the local community. Initial investigations suggest that Bansidhar Dairy has been operating without a proper license, highlighting the need for stringent regulatory enforcement in the dairy sector.
