Vadodara, July 19 – The Government of India’s ambitious initiative for holistic tribal development, the "Dhartiaaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan," has received an overwhelming response in the Vadodara district. Held from June 23 to July 17, 2025, the campaign witnessed the organization of 29 camps across eight talukas, benefiting a total of 4,916 citizens from tribal communities.
As per agency report, these camps served as a one-stop solution, offering a wide range of government services related to health, supply, social welfare, agriculture, panchayat, rural development, and revenue departments under one roof. Beneficiaries availed services such as Aadhaar cards, ration cards, caste certificates, Ayushman health cards, Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jan Dhan bank accounts, disability pensions, MGNREGA job cards, Mudra loans, PM Vishwakarma Yojana benefits, and Anganwadi services.
Additionally, medical screenings for diseases such as tuberculosis and sickle cell anemia were conducted during the camps. Officials from various departments also educated citizens about these schemes, contributing to increased awareness and outreach.
The campaign has emerged as a significant step toward accelerating the socio-economic development of tribal communities. Vadodara district administration played a vital role in the successful execution of the program through its active support and coordination.
