In preparation for the conference, a meeting was held at Sirvi Samaj's Wadi on Tuesday. Present at the meeting were Gujarat General Secretary Ishwar Sajjan, Karnavati Division President Ishwar Patel, and Vice President Ashok Patel.

Surat Laghu Udyog Bharati President Vikram Singh Shekhawat highlighted the ongoing efforts to recruit new members to strengthen the organization. The goal is to address traders' problems promptly and effectively. Laghu Udyog Bharati serves as a crucial link between the industry and government officials, working to resolve industry and trade issues and advocating for policy improvements to enhance business operations.

One notable achievement of Laghu Udyog Bharati is its role in reducing the GST on textile trade from 12 percent to 5 percent.
