The Fire Service Week celebrated by the CISF Unit JGGPP at NTPC Jhankor from April 14 to 20, 2026, concluded on April 20. During the week, the CISF Fire Wing organized various awareness programs based on fire prevention and extinguishing techniques, including first aid, fire fighting training, mock drills, and other activities. Competitions for slogans, essays, and drawings were also held for employees, their families, and school children from nearby villages to spread widespread awareness about fire safety.
