Surat – Renowned internationally for her exceptional talent in the art of mehndi, Nimisha Parekh from Surat added another feather to her cap as she was honored as a panelist at the esteemed 'Bhav - The Expression Summit-2024.' The three-day event, organized by the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru, brought together over 100 celebrities and international artists from various disciplines.
Under the aegis of the World Forum for Art and Culture, the event took place from January 26 to 28, and Nimisha Parekh, celebrated for her innovative contributions to mehndi art, represented the genre as a panelist. The coordination of the program was overseen by Jalpa Thakkar, the local coordinator of Art of Living and a teacher of the Happiness Course.
In a groundbreaking move, Nimisha Parekh became the first mehndi artist to hold a prominent position at such a distinguished international gathering. The event witnessed the convergence of around 800-1000 attendees, with an additional 15,000 viewers tuning in live.
During the summit, Nimisha Parekh was acknowledged by the program director and renowned Kathak artist, Sunilbhai Sunkara. The artist engaged in a one-on-one conversation, delving into the intricacies of mehndi art, its cultural significance, and the unique innovations she has introduced to the field.

Breaking new ground, she initiated the use of Warli art in mehndi, earning accolades for introducing this fusion for the first time. Further showcasing her artistic prowess, Nimisha embarked on a venture to create mehndi art on canvas, a venture widely praised by audiences.
Notably, she presented innovative mehndi art at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, drawing attention and admiration. Her contribution to the field was recognized by the organizers of the 'Bhav - The Expression Summit-2024,' where she not only showcased her artistry but also inspired aspiring individuals to pursue a career in the field of mehndi.
