Tragic Accident on Surat's Pal Umra Bridge Claims One Life

A bizarre accident occurred on the Pal Umra Bridge in Surat on Friday morning, resulting in the death of one young man. The motorcycle they were riding collided with the bridge's railing after hitting a divider, causing both riders to jump from the railing and fall 15 feet.

The accident transpired when the driver lost control of the steering, leading to a severe collision that broke the motorcycle's frame and separated the steering. Both young men, identified as Khalilur Rahman and Turab Ali, were transported to Civil Hospital for treatment, where Turab Ali succumbed to his injuries.

Rahman and Ali had arrived in Surat from Bengal just four days prior to the accident. Their families reside in Bengal, while the two young men were working at a construction site in Piplod and living nearby. The motorcycle involved in the accident belonged to Turab Ali's brother.

The tragic incident highlights the potential dangers of speeding and losing control of a vehicle, emphasizing the importance of practicing caution while on the road.
