Surat: The city of Surat is preparing to host the 'Sparkle International Gems & Jewelry Exhibition - 2023', organized by South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and South Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industry Development Center. The event will take place from August 25th to 27th, 2023 at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Indoor Stadium, Athwa Lines.
Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia revealed that, like previous editions, this year's Sparkle Exhibition will be organized on a B2C basis. It will feature innovative designer jewelry from Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bikaner. The event aims to showcase the unique specialty of Surat's jewelry industry and present Surat as a hub for handling diamonds worldwide.
The exhibition will play a special role in catering to bridal needs. More than 600 engaged couples and their families from Surat have been invited to explore various jewelry collections suitable for weddings and traditional festivals.
Tushar Choksi, chairman of Sparkle Exhibitions, emphasized the importance of the event for wedding preparations, offering a one-stop solution for jewelry selection and insights into current trends.
Minister Nikhil Madrasi announced that Sparkle Jewelers will display an extraordinary collection of silver, including religious idols, modern furniture, home decor, and silver gifts. Key attractions include 4-feet statues of deities and a statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The exhibition will also present polki-heritage jewelry in gold and emerald-pearl fusion bridal jewelry in diamonds. These items are expected to captivate visitors, providing both classic and fusion looks tailored for weddings.
Bijal Jariwala, chairman of all exhibitions, highlighted the event's exclusive offerings for NRIs and the customized collections for weddings and major festivals like Raksha Bandhan and Diwali.
Chamber's Vice President Vijay Mewawala described Sparkle as an inspiration for promoting and updating jewelry brands. He said that the Chamber is working towards taking the jewelry industry to new heights through this glamorous platform.
