SURAT — The allure of social media virality has led to a spate of dangerous stunts being performed and shared online, with the latest incident seeing five individuals, including two minors, arrested in Surat. Udhna police swung into action after a video, showcasing youths performing reckless stunts in rickshaws at high speeds, gained traction online.
Despite repeated warnings from law enforcement about the perils and legal consequences of such actions, many youths remain undeterred in their pursuit of fleeting online fame. The video in question, originating from the Udhna area, showed young individuals making a rickshaw "snake" at perilous speeds, putting not only their lives at risk but also endangering public safety.
Following the video's virality, police not only detained the individuals involved but also seized the rickshaw used in the stunt. The police maintain a vigilant stance against such dangerous activities and have reiterated that those caught performing such stunts will face legal repercussions.
