Surat: Dumus Sea-Face operating hours extended, now visitors can enjoy the seaside beauty and modern amenities until 8 PM
Surat. In response to the continuously increasing crowd of tourists at Dumus Sea-Face, which has become a center of attraction for the people of Surat city and surrounding areas, the Surat Municipal Corporation has decided to extend its operating hours by one hour.
The Dumus Sea-Face Project (Zone-1, Package-1), which was opened to the public on March 8, 2026, has received enthusiastic feedback from city residents and tourists. People of all ages, from children to the elderly, are enjoying various modern facilities and recreational spots here. Attractions developed in the project, such as Darya Ganesh Road, Kids Play Area, Promenade, Walkway, Cycle Track, and Worship Plaza, are particularly drawing people in.
There has been a notable increase in the number of tourists on weekends and public holidays. To provide tourists with the opportunity to spend more time in the natural beach environment and make the most of the available facilities, the municipal administration has changed the hours of Dumus Sea-Face. Previously, this site was open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but now it will be open to the public from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
According to municipal officials, the decision to extend the hours was made specifically to accommodate tourists visiting in the evening and night, allowing them to enjoy the pleasant seaside atmosphere and cool breezes for a longer time. This decision is expected to further increase the number of tourists at Dumus Sea-Face in the coming days.
