A five-day Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav will be organized at the Capital Green Society (Banquet Hall) in the Vesu area of the city from June 6 to June 10, 2026. During the religious event, revered Sant Alakaji will narrate the Shri Ram Katha to the devotees.
According to the organizers, the Katha will be held daily from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A large number of devotees are expected to participate in this five-day Katha Mahotsav. On the inaugural day, Saturday, June 6, a grand Kalash Shobhayatra will commence at 8 AM.
The procession will start from Jiin Mata Mandir, Devsar Mata premises, and Mehndipur Balaji Mandir, passing through various routes to reach the Katha venue. The organizing committee has made extensive preparations for the procession.
The sponsors of the Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav include Kaushalya Devi Gilda, Vasudev Gilda, Sarveshwar Gilda, Geeta Devi Agarwal, Ashish Agarwal, Sachin Agarwal, and Nitin Agarwal. The organizers have urged devotees to attend in large numbers to listen to the Katha and gain religious benefits.
