The Industrial Visit Committee of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized an industrial visit to the state-of-the-art production facility of the renowned spice manufacturer Prayosha Meera Spices, located in Gopin Industrial Park, Segwa, Kamrej, on May 20, 2026.
The purpose of this event was to familiarize local entrepreneurs and chamber members with the modern technologies and processes being adopted in the food processing and spice manufacturing industry. 38 members and entrepreneurs participated in this industrial visit. Participants were provided with detailed information about the advanced machinery used for cleaning, grinding, and processing spices, international food safety standards, automated packaging systems, and hygiene management processes.
They also had the opportunity to observe the production process directly. During the tour, participants closely observed the state-of-the-art machinery installed in the factory, the quality control system, and compliance with international food safety standards. Information was also provided about the standards adopted by the company for product purity, quality, and packaging.
Prayosha Meera Spices, established in 2021, has made a name for itself in the global market for its distinctive taste and quality in a short time. Besides its headquarters in Ahmedabad, the company has a strong presence in major commercial centers like Unjha and Surat. The company has established a distinct identity in domestic and global markets while strictly adhering to international food safety and quality standards.
The company produces a wide range of products, including royal cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, various whole spices, and special mixed spices. Additionally, it offers a product range that includes Farali products, grains, lentils, rice, flour, sugar, snacks, namkeen, mukhwas, papad, and pickles. The company has also expanded its business into the frozen food segment, keeping international demand in mind.
During the visit, participants were also provided with information regarding the export process and global market requirements. Chamber officials stated that such industrial visits play a crucial role in helping entrepreneurs understand modern practices in various industries, familiarize themselves with new technologies, and identify new business expansion opportunities.
