Surat: Inauguration of Bank of Baroda Surat Regional Office

 

Surat, May 14, 2026: Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading public sector banks, inaugurated the Surat Regional Office today in the city of Surat. The inauguration was conducted by Mr. Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director of Bank of Baroda.

On this occasion, Mr. Tyagi stated that Bank of Baroda is continuously committed to providing modern, quick, and convenient banking services to its customers. The new regional office creates new possibilities. Customers will benefit from enhanced services within a stipulated timeframe with the new regional office.

The addition of new customers will increase the bank's customer base and accelerate new business growth opportunities. Six regional offices operate under the Surat Regional Office. The operational area of the Surat Regional Office extends from Bharuch to Vapi, indicating a consistent demand for products related to industrial sectors, agriculture, and retail loans.

The presence of NRI customers will enable this regional office to meet their needs through innovative products. Overall, this regional office will remain a leader in contributing to the country's economy.

The inauguration ceremony of the Surat Regional Office was attended by Mr. K.K. Singh, General Manager and Regional Head of Bank of Baroda Surat, Mr. Nirmal Patel, Deputy General Manager (Compliance and Assurance), Mr. Bhartkumar Chavda, Deputy General Manager (Business Development), Mr. Jagjeet Kumar, Deputy General Manager (ZIAD), Mr. Mukesh Nawal, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Surat City Area, Mr. Rajesh Phulwani, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Surat City Second Area, along with other senior bank officials and local dignitaries.
