The Family Physician Association (FPA) of Surat held an inauguration ceremony for its newly elected president and managing board for the year 2026-27 on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the 'Dream Festival' in Gaurav Path, Pal. Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC (India) Limited, was the chief guest.
Karanraj Vaghela (IPS), Additional Police Commissioner of Surat, attended as the guest of honor. The event was further graced by distinguished guests Mathradassji Maheshwari and Deepchandji Maheshwari. On this occasion, Dr. Ajit Maheshwari formally took over the presidency for the year 2026-27. During the program, former president Dr. Vinodray Patel and honorary secretary Dr. Ajit Maheshwari highlighted the activities and upcoming plans of the organization. The new executive committee appointed Dr. Mansukh Gatiwala as honorary secretary and Dr. Snehal Talati as treasurer. The event was effectively conducted by Professor Dr. Paresh Joshi and Mansi Patel. After the inauguration ceremony, a musical evening and dinner were organized for the attending doctors and guests, which was well attended by numerous doctors and their families, contributing to the success of the event.
