As the Surat Municipal Corporation elections approach, the Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its election campaign. In this context, a 'Chai Par Samvad' program was organized in the Adajan area in the presence of Gujarat BJP President and State Minister Jagdish Vishwakarma, where workers were trained in electoral strategy and organizational preparation.
During the program, Jagdish Vishwakarma took on the role of a teacher. He particularly engaged with female workers, asking them about various government schemes and instructing them on how to work effectively at the grassroots level. He emphasized that mere slogans would not suffice, and that it was essential to reach out directly to beneficiaries of schemes like the Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana, the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana, and other women welfare programs.
The minister also instructed workers to keep a list of beneficiaries during their interactions with voters and to establish communication in a data-driven manner, which he described as a crucial part of an effective electoral strategy. The program also targeted opposition parties. Referring to comments made by workers during the discussion, Vishwakarma noted that some political parties are only active during elections, while BJP workers serve the public throughout the year.
He highlighted the significant role of the women's wing, stating that women's participation would be decisive in strengthening the organization and reaching more voters. Through this 'Chai Par Samvad' program, the party aimed to energize its workers and reinforce its final strategy ahead of the elections.
