Vadodara: 11-year-old Ansh Shah distributes 400 plants on his birthday, conveys message for a green future
11-year-old Ansh Nayan Shah from Vadodara initiated a unique effort to promote environmental conservation on his birthday. On April 8, instead of a traditional celebration, Ansh distributed free plants to people on their morning walk, aiming to raise awareness for a green future.
He had prepared for this initiative in advance, having sown nearly 500 seeds at home with the awards he received from his exams and birthday gifts, out of which about 400 plants were successfully grown. These plants included several useful and environmentally beneficial varieties such as date palms, adenium, sapodilla, almonds, and lemons. On his birthday, Ansh began this campaign outside Akota Garden in Vadodara, where he distributed plants to morning walkers and encouraged them to plant more trees.
During this time, he also expressed concern about rising pollution, the increase in the number of vehicles, and global warming. The local community highly appreciated Ansh's commendable initiative.
Attendees not only praised his thinking but also described it as an inspiring example for society. Ansh Shah's unique birthday celebration not only became a moment of joy but also delivered a powerful message to raise awareness about environmental conservation and ensure a green and healthy future for upcoming generations.
