In Surat, Jignesh C. Patil, president of Youth for Gujarat, celebrated his birthday by engaging in service activities, setting an inspiring example for society.
On this occasion, food kits were distributed to over 500 widows. The event, held near the Althan Tenement and Sankalp Shopping Center, saw Jignesh Patil personally present to distribute the kits. Arrangements for buttermilk and snacks were made for the guests and beneficiaries attending the program.
Ganeshbhai P. Sawant and Sagar G. Sawant honored Jignesh Patil with a bouquet and a shawl.
Local representatives, former councilors, officials from various social organizations, and prominent members of the community were also present at the event. Instead of just one day, various service activities were organized over five days. During this time, Jignesh Patil visited different schools in the city to distribute notebooks and other educational materials to needy children.
He also spent time with children in orphanages and provided them with essential items. Jignesh Patil mentioned that the true meaning of his birthday is to bring smiles to the faces of those in need. He stated that Youth for Gujarat remains active in service activities and will continue such efforts in the future.
The volunteers from Jai Bhavani Credit Society played a significant role in making the event successful. This service initiative has received widespread appreciation in the community. Notable attendees included former corporator Mukeshbhai, Himanshu Raulji, Dipesh Patel, Rashmiben Sabu, Pankajbhai Patel, chairman of DRB College, Lalabhai Bharwad, vice president of Surat City Youth Morcha, among other well-known individuals from the community.
