Khijadia headmaster Ramdevsingh Jadeja honoured as Best Principal at district level on World Teachers’ Day
Rajkot, October 5. On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, Ramdevsingh Hitendrasinh Jadeja, Headmaster of Khijadia Primary School, was recognized as the Best Principal at the district level this year. Through his innovative initiatives and community involvement, he has transformed the school into a model institution for both education and environmental conservation.
As per report, Jadeja began his teaching career in 2003 and has consistently encouraged students to excel in science, mathematics, and sports. During his tenure as CRC coordinator, he actively participated in science and mathematics exhibitions, sports festivals, and Gunotsav activities. After taking charge as headmaster of Khijadia Primary School in 2015, he introduced a range of initiatives that brought new life to the school, including smart classrooms, International Yoga Day celebrations, student parliaments, sports festivals, Anand Melas, environmental tours, and bird-watching programs.
To foster character building and value education among students, Jadeja introduced several innovative activities such as My Notebook, Today’s Rose, Today’s Lamp, Ram Topi, Akshay Yatra, and Lost and Found. His projects like My Plate–Clean Plate, My Presence, and From Village to World have been instrumental in promoting the holistic development of children.
Under his leadership, the school has become a plastic-free campus, with collected plastic sent for recycling. A kitchen garden and medicinal plant area have been developed, supported by drip irrigation systems. These efforts have made environmental conservation an integral part of the school’s culture.
Khijadia Primary School has consistently achieved A+ grades in Gunotsav for five consecutive years and has received several awards at the district and taluka levels. Jadeja himself has been honored multiple times for his excellence as a teacher and for his leadership at the cluster level, making him a distinguished figure in the field of primary education.
