Surat to host 'Health Conclave 2025' on September 14 at Sarsana
Surat – The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) will organize a grand event, ‘Health Conclave 2025,’ on Sunday, September 14, at Platinum Hall, SIECC, Sarsana. The conclave aims to spread awareness about preventive healthcare and to strengthen the doctor-patient relationship.
The Indian Medical Association’s newly elected National President, Dr. Anil Nayak, will be the chief guest, while Dr. Mehul Shah, IMA’s Gujarat State President, will attend as the guest of honor. Several eminent medical experts will address key aspects of healthcare. Dr. Anish Chandrana will focus on preventive health, Dr. Hansal Bhachech will discuss the art of treatment, Dr. Pragnesh Vachharajani will elaborate on healthcare technology, and Dr. Bhavesh Modi will share insights on improving workplace health for employees.
A major highlight of the conclave will be a panel discussion on doctor-patient relations. The session, featuring Dr. Mukur Petrolwala, Dr. Sameer Gami, and Dr. Mukul Choksi, will address challenges, expectations, and perspectives from both sides to build trust and foster stronger communication.
According to SGCCI’s Public Health Committee Chairperson, Dr. Parul Vadgama, the conclave seeks to create a meaningful dialogue that encourages collaboration between doctors and patients. SGCCI President Nikhil Madrasi emphasized that with rising lifestyle-related diseases and stress, the importance of preventive healthcare and regular checkups has grown significantly. He added that this initiative is a vital step toward building a healthier and more aware society.
