Vadodara: 123 Teaching Assistants Receive Appointment Letters for Higher Secondary Schools
Vadodara, July 9 – In a significant step to strengthen the state’s educational infrastructure, the District Education Office of Vadodara, under the guidance of the Gujarat Government’s Education Department and the Office of the Commissioner of Schools, Gandhinagar, officially handed over appointment letters to 123 newly selected teaching assistants on Tuesday. These appointments were made for non-government aided higher secondary schools across the district.
The ceremony was marked by a dignified atmosphere, with Member of Parliament Dr. Hemang Joshi attending as the chief guest. He congratulated the newly appointed educators and praised their forthcoming role in shaping the nation's future. Dr. Joshi remarked that teachers are the architects of society and urged them to commit wholeheartedly to the mission of nation-building through personality development.
District Education Officer M. R. Pandey welcomed the appointees and extended his best wishes for their careers. He emphasized the crucial role of teachers in improving the quality of education and driving systemic change in the academic landscape.
As per agency report, the appointment list includes teaching assistants from various academic disciplines: 40 in commerce, 20 in economics, 18 in Gujarati, 15 in English, 7 in biology, 6 each in mathematics and physics, 3 each in chemistry and statistics, 2 each in computer science and Hindi, and 1 in sociology.
The newly appointed teachers expressed joy and gratitude towards the Gujarat Government for the opportunity and pledged to contribute meaningfully to the education system. The event was appreciated by attendees as a motivational initiative that highlighted the importance of education in shaping an empowered society.
