Mahakal-Salasar Temple Project Launched in Surat, Marking a New Era of Devotion and Community Unity

Surat is set to witness the rise of a significant religious landmark as the Shri Mahakaleshwar Salasar Hanuman Seva Trust formally began its temple construction initiative with the blessings of Ujjain’s renowned Mahakal temple priest, Pradeep Guruji. His arrival in Surat on Friday marked a pivotal moment in the project’s journey. A special welcome was organized at the Trust's office located at Metro Tower Market on Ring Road.

A detailed discussion was held regarding the upcoming temple, which will be built on a sprawling land parcel along the Sachin-Palsana Road. During the event, Pradeep Guruji emphasized that temple construction is not merely about bricks and mortar, but a symbol of faith, service, and collective devotion. He expressed the vision that every devotee of Mahakal and Salasar Balaji should feel connected to this sacred mission, promoting inclusivity and shared spiritual purpose.

Guruji symbolically named the project “Sankalp” and stated that it would not be just a place of worship but a center for spiritual awakening. Trust Chairman Satyanarayan Goel provided a comprehensive overview of the temple’s design, area, facilities, and construction plans. Other key attendees included members of the Shri Salasar Hanuman Seva Mandal such as Suman Gupta, Bunty Gupta, Chainsukh Jhanwar, Pawan Randad, Mahavir Randad, and Pradeep Lalani, among others.

All present reaffirmed their commitment to working together with Guruji to bring this grand temple vision to life. The project aims to serve not only as a spiritual destination for devotees of Mahakal and Salasar Baba but also as a symbol of dedication, unity, and cultural harmony in Surat.

With its foundation laid in faith and collective will, the proposed temple is poised to enrich the religious landscape of the city and inspire generations through its message of shared devotion and service.
