Surat, February 9 – The textile industry, India's second-largest employment-generating sector after agriculture, is set to take center stage at Bharat Tex 2025. Organized with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, this mega event will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 14 to 17. Spanning over 2.20 lakh square meters, the exhibition will feature 233 stalls from Gujarat, including 136 from Surat, offering immense business opportunities for the city's thriving textile industry.
Complete Textile Value Chain to be Showcased
Bharat Tex 2025 aims to highlight the entire textile value chain, including fiber, yarn, fabric, garments, home textiles, and technical textiles. The event is expected to attract approximately 1.20 lakh buyers from across the country, along with delegations and international buyers from key global textile markets, including the USA, the European Union, Russia, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Additionally, over 5,000 foreign buyers are anticipated to participate, providing Indian manufacturers with a platform to expand their reach into international markets.
This large-scale exhibition is poised to open new trade opportunities for Surat’s textile industry, further strengthening its position as a leading hub in India’s textile manufacturing and export sector.
