Surat: SGCCI Ladies Wing Visits Ultra Denim Pvt Ltd to Explore Modern Denim Production Techniques

Surat – The Ladies Wing of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) recently organized a visit to Ultra Denim Pvt Ltd, located at Gujarat Eco Textile Park, Palsana. The primary aim of this visit was to familiarize women entrepreneurs with the advanced techniques used in the production of denim fabric and apparel.

During the visit, the women entrepreneurs closely observed the entire process, from the production of denim fabric to the creation of finished garments. Bhavesh Patel, Marketing Manager at Ultra Denim, provided an in-depth overview of the plant’s operations, explaining how the company not only caters to the domestic market but also exports denim fabric internationally.

Ultra Denim also showcased its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company focuses on producing eco-friendly products by utilizing resources and recycled materials. The factory produces poly-cotton fabric, denim jeans, cotton jeans, and high-quality denim fabric.

Located in Palsana, Ultra Denim is India’s second-largest producer of denim fabric. The unit boasts state-of-the-art machinery in its sewing and washing sections, with a production capacity of 4,000 garments per day. Ultra Denim supplies premium-grade denim fabric in bulk to major global clothing brands, offering high-quality products at competitive prices.

The women entrepreneurs also gained insights into other units within the Gujarat Eco Textile Park, where sustainable production practices are adhered to. The park’s focus on eco-friendly operations aligned with the entrepreneurs’ learning objectives.
