Six Dead, Eight Injured in Gujarat Road Accident

In a tragic road accident near Anand, Gujarat, six people lost their lives and eight sustained injuries this morning. The incident occurred at Cheekhodara on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway when a truck, following a sudden tyre burst, collided with a luxury bus parked on the roadside. The collision caused the bus to overturn, crushing six passengers sitting on the divider. Three victims died instantly, while three others succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Premadevi Prakashchand Jain, Punamchand Hukmichand Jain, Bhanwarlal Girdharilal Rao, Naini Devi Hensingh, Rajviben Sureshbhai Carpenter, and Sonu Narayan Jat.

The injured include Rajeshbhai Khatri, Meenaben Rajeshbhai Khatri, Ambalal Kumawat, Suresh Nandkishore, Vishnu Ranglal Jat, Santosh Kumari Bharat Singh Rajput, Narsingh Laxman Singh Nasra, Motilal Gundbhai Dindol, and truck driver Karan Avadheshram. Some of the injured are in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll might increase.
