Amit Shah's First Visit to Gujarat Post-Election Victory
Union Home Minister to Inaugurate Smart Schools and Attend Yoga Day Event
Ahmedabad — Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Gujarat on Friday for the first time since the Lok Sabha election victory. Shah, who has been reappointed as a Union Minister in the Narendra Modi government, will engage in multiple public programs during his visit.
In the afternoon, Shah will inspect a smart school located in the government colony of Vastrapur, as part of a program to convert 30 primary schools run by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation into smart schools. This inspection is scheduled for 3:30 pm. Shortly after, at 3:45 pm, he will inaugurate another smart school, Anupam Shala, in Naranpura village.
Before these engagements, Amit Shah will participate in the state-level International Yoga Day program in Nadabet. Nadabet, a border village in Banaskantha, is renowned for its border tourism and will host the main Yoga Day event in Gujarat this year. The event is organized by the Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities of the State Government, Gujarat State Yoga Board, and the Border Security Force (BSF).
The program will see the presence of other prominent figures, including Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Assembly Speaker Shankarbhai Chaudhary, alongside Amit Shah. This visit marks a significant event, reflecting Shah's ongoing commitment to developmental and cultural activities in his home state.
