Washington, 05 June (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins the third consecutive term in India after Jawaharlal Nehru. The results of the parliamentary elections in India were widely published and discussed in newspapers and electronic media across the world.
The New York Times had reported that Modi?s Bharatiya Janata Party would win maximum seats in the elections. The BJP could require the support of some small parties to form the government. The New York Times said that Modi will be the second leader to earn the third consecutive term, which will be a major achievement in Indian history.
