Participating in the democratic process, three generations of the Budhia family exercised their right to vote in the Navsari Lok Sabha seat. The family, comprising 74-year-old Sanwarprasad Budhia, his son Vishal, and granddaughters Khushi and Zeel, cast their votes at the polling booth of St. Xavier's School, Surat under Majura assembly.
Khushi, a 20-year-old first-time voter, expressed her excitement, likening the voting experience to a celebration she had eagerly awaited. She emphasized the importance of voting and urged everyone to participate in all elections to fulfill their duty as responsible citizens.
Zeel, 18, also voted for the first time and shared her happiness at being part of the electoral process. She praised the District Election Office for establishing Sakhi Polling Center, Adarsh Polling Center, and Youth Polling Center, initiatives aimed at encouraging voter participation. Zeel thanked the administration for creating theme-based polling stations, which provide a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere for voters.
