Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Announces New Measures

Surat - The Board of Management of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) has implemented three key decisions aimed at improving efficiency and saving costs for the university.

Saving Through Advance Payments

In a strategic move, VNSGU will now make advance payments for municipal taxes, electricity bills, and insurance premiums. This approach leverages the Surat Municipal Corporation's tax exemption scheme, resulting in significant financial savings for the university.

Holding Contractors Accountable

The university has also cancelled its contract with an Ahmedabad-based agency, MS Traders, responsible for supplying answer sheets. The decision comes after MS Traders reportedly delayed deliveries and improperly disposed of used answer sheets. This action serves as a strong message to ensure responsible service from future vendors.

Streamlined Admissions for Transfer Students

VNSGU has established a new policy for admitting students from other universities. To facilitate a smooth transition, the university will now allow a limited number of transfer admissions, with a maximum of five seats available per class. Students seeking admission through this route must submit the necessary documentation, including migration certificates or affidavits.
