Surat Textile Traders Gathered for Bhajan Program for Relief from New MSME Provision

Surat - Textile traders in Surat gathered for a unique Bhajan program on Thursday evening, seeking divine intervention amidst confusion and hardship caused by a new MSME provision. Organized by the Textile Youth Brigade, the event took place in front of the Radhakrishna Temple within the Textile Market premises.

Prayers amidst uncertainty:

Traders expressed their concerns about the recent MSME provision, highlighting a lack of clarity and its impact on their businesses. Many, including chartered accountants, remain unclear about the regulation's intricacies, leading to a standstill in the market for several days. The Bhajan program served as a collective appeal to God for relief from this challenging situation.

Unity in seeking solutions:

Joining the Textile Youth Brigade in this initiative were members of the Seva Foundation and the Arhatiya Textile Association. Prominent figures like Ashok Goyal (Founder, Seva Foundation), Rajeev Omar (President, Seva Foundation), Prahlad Agarwal (President, Arhtiya Textile Association), and Raju Tated (Founder, Textile Youth Brigade) participated in the prayers and Bhajan.

Seeking postponement:

The program resonated with the concerns of numerous traders present, including Mukesh Daga and Narayan Sharma. A unanimous demand emerged to postpone the implementation of the provision for a year, allowing for better understanding and smoother integration.

Hope for a clearer future:

While seeking divine blessings, the Surat textile community hopes for a solution that addresses their concerns and ensures the continued prosperity of their businesses. The Bhajan program served as a powerful expression of their unity and a plea for a more clarified and manageable regulatory environment.
