Toddler's Death Highlights Importance of Child Safety at Home

Surat - A tragic incident has occurred in Surat where a two-year-old boy lost his life after falling from the first floor gallery while playing alone. The child was rushed to Surat Civil Hospital but succumbed to his injuries after some time. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the Lodhi family living in Mahadev Society in Palsana area of Surat and has served as an eye-opener for parents.

The child's father, Shankar Lodhi, originally from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, works in a loom factory in Surat and lives with his wife Rajni Devi and son Mayank. On the day of the incident, Rajni Devi was cooking in the kitchen while Mayank was playing alone in the gallery on the first floor. Suddenly, the child fell and suffered a serious head injury. Despite immediate medical attention, he could not be saved.

The Palsana police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated further investigation into the matter. The family is in deep shock after the tragic loss of their son.

This incident serves as a warning to parents about the importance of child safety at home. Leaving young children unattended while performing household chores or other activities can have dire consequences.
