A Life Cut Short: Indalkumar Mahato, a 27-year-old from Bihar, was working in Surat when he met with a fatal bike accident on January 14. Rushed to Olpad Hospital and later transferred to the New Civil Hospital's ICU, he was declared brain-dead on January 17.
Gift in Midst of Grief: Amidst their own loss, Indalkumar's family, including his wife Prithvi Kumari, displayed remarkable strength and generosity. Understanding the vital importance of organ donation, they agreed to give Indalkumar's organs a new lease on life.
Second Chance for Others: With their consent, Indalkumar's two kidneys and one liver were harvested and transported to IKD Hospital in Ahmedabad early this morning. These precious organs now offer hope and a second chance at life for three individuals desperately waiting for transplants.
