In a remarkable prelude to the impending consecration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, the city of Surat has witnessed a historic event capturing the essence of devotion and festivity. Renowned Mehndi artist Nimisha Parekh, the trailblazer of Mehndi culture, has masterfully depicted the epic Ramayana on the hands of 51 women from Surat, including prominent figures like MP and Railways and Textiles Minister Darshan Darjosh.

In a mesmerizing program infused with devotion to Lord Ram, Nimisha Parekh presented 51 episodes of the Ramayana based on Chaupai, employing the ancient Warli art form. The intricate Mehndi designs, inspired by traditional Warli art, showcased pivotal events from Ram's birth to the historic Ravana war and Ram Darbar, capturing the attention and admiration of all present.

Expressing her inspiration, Nimisha Parekh shared that her visit to the under-construction Ram temple complex in Ayodhya last August sparked the idea. Enamored by the grandeur of the temple, she conceived the concept of presenting the Ramayana episodes through her Mehndi art as a unique offering to Lord Ramji.
