The event featured distinguished cyber security experts, Swati Phadke and Dharmesh Rathod, who delved into the intricacies of the newly introduced Data Protection Act-2023.
Insights from Swati Phadke: Addressing the gathering, cyber security maven Swati Phadke highlighted the crucial aspects of the Data Protection Act. Emphasizing the need for companies to safeguard their data, she underscored that the act strictly prohibits the placement or sharing of data on any dark web platform. Dharmesh Rathod's Perspective: Fellow cyber security expert Dharmesh Rathod directed his focus on the cyber security landscape within organizations and corporate entities. Rathod elucidated the potential threats posed by cyber attackers, citing varying motives and timings for attacks. Drawing attention to the evolving tactics of cyber attackers, he highlighted the risk of attacks through Bluetooth on websites and applications. Rathod not only discussed preventive measures but also delved into the specifics of how cyber attackers acquire citizen data and utilize APIs to execute attacks.
