SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84: Connecting Businesses in India and Dubai

Surat, India - South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) President Ramesh Vaghasia and Honorary Minister Nikhil Madrasi recently met with various business leaders and organizations in Dubai as part of the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84. The delegation's visit aims to strengthen economic ties between India and Dubai and explore new business opportunities for members of the SGCCI.

On Friday, December 1, 2023, the Chamber President met with Brahmavihari Swamiji, International Spokesperson of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Swaminarayan Institute in Dubai. BAPS is a socio-spiritual Hindu organization with a global network of temples and centers. The organization has received several national and international awards for its work and is affiliated with the United Nations.

During the meeting, Chamber President Vaghasia presented the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project to Brahmavihari Swamiji. The project aims to increase exports from India by connecting businesses in South Gujarat with potential partners in Dubai and other countries.

Brahmavihari Swamiji was impressed with the Mission 84 project and pledged the support of the BAPS organization. He emphasized the importance of working with truth, trust, and transparency (3T) to achieve success in international business.

Swamiji also expressed his willingness to connect businesses in Surat with potential partners in Dubai and other countries through the BAPS organization's online international portal. He encouraged the Chamber officials to continue their efforts and assured them of the BAPS organization's support.

The meeting between the SGCCI delegation and Brahmavihari Swamiji is a significant step forward in strengthening economic ties between India and Dubai.
