South Gujarat Productivity Council Honors Leaders with 'Award of Excellence'
Recognition of Outstanding Achievements in Various Fields and Promotion of Millet and Organic Food
The South Gujarat Productivity Council (SGPC) celebrated an evening of recognition and innovation as they conferred the prestigious 'Award of Excellence' upon leaders from thirteen different industrial houses. Simultaneously, the SGPC unveiled its ambitious 'Millet and Organic Food Expo.'
Union Minister and Member of Parliament, Darshana Zardosh, along with SGPC President Bhadresh Shah and their team, were grandly honored with the "SGPC Award of Excellence." This award acknowledges the outstanding contributions made by organizations and individuals across various fields under SGPC's initiatives.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Shri Bharatbhai Shah, Chairman of the Public Education Society, and Shri Vijay Mewawala, Vice President of The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The presence of Union Minister of Railways and Textiles, Darshanaben Jardosh, added to the grandeur of the occasion.
Mr. Bhadreshbhai Shah, the President of SGPC, highlighted the exemplary work done by organizations and their leaders in categories such as innovation, quality, production, turnover, export, employment, research and development. He emphasized that these achievements have brought South Gujarat's name to the global stage, aligning with the government's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.
Notable honorees included the Surat Diamond Bourse, represented by Mr. Nagjibhai Sakaria and Mr. Dineshbhai Navadia, and prominent figures from the diamond industry, Mr. Savantibhai Shah and Mr. Hiteshbhai Shah of Venus Gems. Mr. Kamleshbhai Yagnik accepted the award on behalf of Mr. Govindbhai Dholakia Group, recognizing their excellence in the diamond and jewelry sector.
The award ceremony also acknowledged individuals who have excelled in various sectors, including mutual funds, organic food, real estate, and more. Mr. Nilesh Gajera accepted the honor on behalf of Mr. Niraj Choksi and Mr. Jignesh Desai, founders of India Group. Enviro Control Pvt. Ltd., known for its pioneering work in environmental initiatives, was represented by Mr. Nimesh Vashi.
Dr. Dheerajlal Kotdia, Managing Director of The Sahajanand Group of Companies, received the 'Award of Excellence in R. & D.' for the company's remarkable contributions in the field of cardiac stents, robots, and organics.
Other esteemed awardees included Mr. D. H. Italia, Manager of Italia Creations Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Navinchandra Jariwala, Manager of Heera Lakshmi Jari, and Ashfaq Shilliwala, recognized for their remarkable contributions in various industries. The Diwaliben Trust, Bardoli, an organization dedicated to social service, was also felicitated.
The ceremony featured inspiring success stories from all the awardees, who expressed their gratitude to SGPC. Bharatbhai Shah addressed the gathering with thoughtful words.
Additionally, the awards were announced for Lakshmipati Textiles Group, Wari Solar Panel Energy Group, and Atul Bakery Group, who, while scheduled to attend, were unable to do so due to unavoidable reasons. They will be duly honored in the future.
The SGPC also unveiled the brochure for an upcoming Millet Exhibition, with former President Mr. Arvindbhai Kapadia and Tarak Sheth set to preside over the event. To further engage the community, a magazine reflecting the council's position and accountability was launched.
The program attracted former presidents of the organization, ex-presidents of the Chamber of Commerce, and numerous members of the organization, including the Youth and Women's Wings, as well as prominent citizens.
Nikhil Madrasi, the Honorary Minister of the organization, adeptly managed the entire program, with Nisha Anand and Rinkle Jariwala delivering the invocation.
