Gujarat Chief Minister Visits Surat Diamond Bourse, Calls It World's Largest Corporate Office Hub

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday visited the Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) in Khajod, a major milestone in the development of the city's diamond industry.

Patel met with members of the SDB core committee, Surat Municipal Corporation officials, and SUDA officials to discuss the progress of the Surat Dream City project, which includes the SDB. He also viewed a presentation on the SDB.

"The Surat Diamond Bourse will be the world's largest corporate office hub," Patel said. "It will provide a new world-class business hub for diamond traders from all over the world. This will directly benefit the state and country's economy and create thousands of job opportunities."

Patel said that the state government has always taken a positive approach to promoting industries. He said that the construction of the SDB will lead to large-scale diamond trading in Surat. He expressed hope that Surat's name will rise to new heights in the diamond trade and wished the SDB success. He assured that the state government will always be there to help the SDB.

District Collector Ayush Oak, Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal, Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar, and SDB members Mathurbhai Savani, Savjibhai Dholakia, and Dineshbhai Nawadia were present on the occasion.
