Gujarat CM Approves Rs. 1.52 Cr for Development of 7 Temples in Vadodara District

Gandhinagar, November 4: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved a proposal to allocate Rs. 1.52 crore for the development of seven small and big temples at the village level in Vadodara district. The proposal was submitted to the Chief Minister by the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Development Board (GPYVB).

The seven temples that will benefit from the development initiative are:

  • Shri Lalji Maharaj Temple (Chansad, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Ranchhodji Temple (Dabhasa, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Muralidhar Temple (Amla, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Neelkantheshwar Mahadev Temple (Umraya, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Durgeshwar Mahadev Temple (Umraya, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Mobha Temple (Mobha, Padra taluka)
  • Shri Narsinghji Temple (Ambada, Padra taluka)

Development works worth Rs. 1.02 crore have been approved for the development of these six government-owned pilgrimage sites. Additionally, in-principle approval has also been given for development works worth Rs. 50 lakh in Shri Satyanarayan Temple (Malsar, Sinor taluka).

The development initiative is expected to boost religious tourism in Vadodara district and benefit rural devotees. The GPYVB has already sanctioned Rs. 7.45 crore for the development works of four pilgrimage places in Vadodara city and district.

The Chief Minister's approval of the proposal has been welcomed by religious leaders and devotees alike. They hope that the development initiative will help to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat.
