Five-Day-Old Newborn's Organ Donation Brings New Life to Six Children in Surat; Gujarat BJP State President Commends Family's Courage
Surat: For the first time in India, the organs of a five-day-old newborn baby were donated in Surat, giving new hope to six other children. The baby, born on October 16, was admitted to a private hospital due to health problems. After further tests, the doctors declared the baby brain dead.
Despite their grief, the parents of the baby, Harsh and Chetna Sanghani, made the difficult decision to donate their baby's organs. As a result, the baby's two kidneys, liver, spleen, and eyes were donated to six other children, giving them a new lease on life.
Gujarat BJP State President C.R. Patil visited the Sanghani family's home to praise their selfless decision. He said that the Sanghani family has set an example for others by donating their baby's organs, even in their own time of grief.
The Sanghani family's decision is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. Their selfless act of kindness has given new life to six other children, and their story is an inspiration to us all.
