A 21-year-old CA student from Ahmedabad, Anil Rajesh Godhani, died after being hit by a speeding ambulance in Surat's Sarthana area. Anil was in Surat to celebrate Holi with his family and was on his way to his uncle's house when the accident occurred.
According to reports, the ambulance driver negligently hit Anil while he was crossing the BRTS route near Raghukul Chowk opposite Umang Heights near Simada Naka. Anil suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a local private hospital where he died during treatment.
Anil's uncle, Kumanbhai Godhani, lodged a complaint at the Sarthana police station, and the police have registered a case against the ambulance driver. Anil's father, who lives in Navi Haliyad village in Amreli district, has been informed about the tragic incident.
The incident has caused shock and grief among Anil's family and friends. The police are investigating the matter and trying to identify the cause of the accident. The driver of the ambulance is being questioned, and the police will take appropriate action once the investigation is completed.
